Oh Biden refused to read Chimamanda's letter?
Why would he...

Free money, even for billionaires, is free money.

They know their foolish Niggers in Africa are going to enrich the western world the more so of course they will send delegates and even their ashawo to Abuja to clap for a sickly old animal that is going to be "President".

They also got a deal maker in Shettima that will ensure billions will be siphoned abroad.

SO its is very good for you Blackies and those doing Tribalism.... YOU GO CONTINUE TO BE THE LAUGHING STOCK TO THE WORLD...

Oh is it because of AFrobeats you think people like you?

LOL

This is Shameful indeed!

Not even the US Secretary of State?

This shows exactly shows how the Biden Administration regards the incoming Tinubu Administration. personalities involved in delegation for Presidential inauguration has always been a reflection of how the US Administration views any incoming government.

Sending a lowly placed cabinet secretary to attend to an inauguration of the "most important" country in Africa is an insult to say the least and unfortunately many Nigerians are tripping over this obvious humiliation of Tinubu and his incoming administration.

In Buhari’s first term, The Honorable John Kerry, Secretary of State was the leader of the delegation

In a normal clime, the US would have been represented by the VP Kamela Harris who is second in the line of succession.

For your information, per the US Power hierarchy as enunciated by the succession act of 1947, the order of seniority and the line of succession of US officials are as follows:

1. The President POTUS

2. The VP - Kamala Harris

3. The Speaker of US HOR - Kevin McCathy

4. US President Pro Tempo of the Senate - Patty Murray

5. Secretary of State - Anthony Blinken

6 Secretary of Defence - Lloyd Austin

7 . Attorney General - Merrick Garland

8. Secretary of Interior - Deb Harland

9. Secretary of Agriculture - Tom Vilsack

10. Secretary of Commerce - Gina Raimondo

11. Secretary of labour - Julie Su

12. Secretary of Health and Human Services Xavier Becerra

13. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development - Marcia Fudge

Powerful statement. Chimamanda will be humble. She been think say she get leg cos BBC and CNN invite her for interviews. She doesn't know tinubu is very close to the US political establishment. He has been invited for several Dem party events in the past.

Would Biden have come to Nigeria for inauguration if Pandora@ Obi won the election?

Those who are familiar with international diplomacy will realise that it is only expedient for the U.S to representatives to the occasion.

It doesn't negate the fact that the presidential election is disputed in court. Not attending would appear the U.S has already taken sides.

So no need for badmouthing on this account.

Ogbeni, that is not absolutely true!

The US Sec. of State is the 5th in Command and the most high ranking cabinet secretary. He is even higher than the defence secretary in seniority and ranking.

US constitution is not like Nigeria constitution where you have equality of ministers due the ministers representing states of the Federation.

In this instance America is sending someone in 13th position to represent it in a country with a geopolitical clout as Nigeria.

I saw where you mentioned about the caliber of US representation in the recent Brazilian President Lula's recent Inauguration and that made me to understand that you are not really current on some current international issues as you seem to claim. The US supported the former conservative President Jair Bolsonaro against the incumbent leftist Lula and hence the little love lost between Lula and Biden.

You also mentioned Kenya, for Christ sake, Kenya is no in the same league with Nigeria in any ramification. Nigeria is a potential G20 country.

Coming back to my former assertion as Biden little regard to Nigeria, it would be akin to US sending Xavier Becerra or Marcia Fudgeto to led a delegation to Indonesia or South Korean President inauguration. How do you see that?

plaindealer:
Ignorant people and their ignorant and boring comments.

Sec of state is a cabinet member and the leader of the delegation is a cabinet member, both are senior-level officials with the same ranking.

Even if they send a dog, the dog is heading to Nigeria with the full weight and authority of the President of the United States of America.

Sit down abeg..

This is the US delegation to Indonesia, they sent a transportation secretary, no secretary of state, no congress member, no 4-star general, just 2 or 3 people.

Btw, even if Biden sent a dog to represent him, the dog is on the ground as Biden with the full weight and authority of the United States of America.

You people really need to sit down with your self-induced headache..

Go and check the USA delegation to Nigeria in 2011 during Jonathan inauguration.

USA under Obama only sent two people and none of those guys you mentioned are there.

What will you say to this?

Eyahhhhh....d matter at hand now is more than what soludo (or any igbo 'saint') can handle.

The best of president that has d 'obidients' as supporters can never ever succeed. That was how they highjacked Jonathan's govt and rendered it useless.

These same intolerant 'obidients' will simply shift base to soludo (and tag themselves 'solutions') with their hate and bitterness and we're back to square one again.

It's a long road for them and there's no one to blame but themselves.

What I said was base on equity and fairness, unfortunately that words r not in dictionaries in Nigeria Politcs... I'm of BAT to the core...

Let me quickly agree with you that the solutions here is truly above Soludo.
