It’s time for you to stop stressing. Instead, calm down then watch how they go about it..

is it a movie that he should watch? he asked a valid question and if you think the idea is amazing, why dont you have answers to his question?

Lagos has independent power plant

I have a home in Lagos, anytime I am there i experience epileptic power supply while that's for a home , for industrial purposes like brt, if they are planning to use diesel powered generator to charge those buses, then they have bombed themselves on the foot

When will Nigerians stop praising criminals?

Before praising any governor check how much they borrowed and how much was put into use... I f they really deserve thank you.

This is our taxes and not their personal money.

A country where there's no accountability...

A country where looted money is being rebooted and defended by criminal lawyers/SAN.

A country where the government/elite doesn't obey laws...

A country where they choose darkness than light

If only we know we don't really deserve all this suffering.

If only we know Nigeria is one the richest in natural resources.

If only we know that all Nigerians deserves all the social amenities other western world have.

We need change in this country.

Again where will the power to charge these busses come from, 280km per full charge, is it with traffic or without traffic.

Will these fare better than gas powered and diesel powered buses in the long term

I think the people that bought the electric buses have also planned for that. Let's appreciate appreciate good moves abeg

The independent power plant is strictly for Alausa Secetariat, Lagos Hospitals, Lagos Light , the new BRT

From the failed Enron project

Judge hands out prison time in Enron barge scam

Ex-Enron, Merrill execs sentenced. A repentant Boyle gets nearly four years for his involvement in barge scandal

May 13, 2005

Former Enron executive Dan Boyle was sentenced to nearly four years in prison Thursday, while Robert Furst and William Fuhs, both former Merrill Lynch bankers, received more than three years — all for their roles in the Enron Nigerian barge scam.

Boyle, sentenced to three years and 10 months in prison and fined $320,000, was the only one who appeared repentant about pushing through a sham sale of energy-generating barges to the bank so Enron could pump its earnings and bolster its stock price.

"I'm the only one responsible for my actions and omissions and for the pain I caused each and every person I affected," the Clear Lake resident told the judge. "I'm truly sorry."

I don't understand ooooooo because they might want to still use diesel powered generators to charge them because light isn't up to par for now in the country though few areas dey get more than 12hrs of light per day.

Are you aware that Dangote refinery can generate up to 12,000 mw electricity, are you aware that states/regions can now generate I dependent power and supply? The South West is already ahead of others on this. I hope the north central will do same with Ajaokuta steel company

its not about appreciating or not appreciating good things. he is a citizen and has every right to ask questions considering how this country is run. you cant just sweep everything under the carpet with "lets appreciate good things". the blue rail line, is it functioning? does Lagos state need electric buses at this time? how will that reduce the waiting hours at BRT terminals? there are still many under-utilised buses at LAMATA offices at ojota, ikorodu and ajah yet people stand waiting for hours for buses and are packed like goods. is it electric bus that will solve that problem? the people that started BRT, didnt they plan for making sure people dont wait for so many hours at terminals before they get buses?

Do you know that egbin power plant is around ikorodu, there is another around ifo ogun axis and there numerous outages around Lagos mainland, I have a business around ikeja which is running almost entirely on generators, ajaokuta is already gone, $40b has been spent on a $6b project and there is oversupply of cheap steel from China and India how on earth can ajaokuta compete on a global scale

If oando builds a charging point, it might help as they can as well use the same power for pump station to charge the buses, but as an investment, I will not invest in this kind of arrangement that has a single success point
