However this thread is about the largest oil refineries in the south and anecdotal info on how they are owned by 3 different Northerners (Dangote, Abdulsamad & Abdul Isa).

For the brown roofs, that's our heritage and we are very proud that we remain the first tribe in Nigeria to live in iron sheets roofed houses while your people were still living in leave tact houses. So next time you get to Ibadan, enjoy the brown roofs and visit educate yourself to Kolapo Ishola Gra only and come back to report here. Just a location.

The problems is that am not impressed by most of the cities that I have been to in Nigeria, no proper planning, shops everywhere, completely confused set up, no infrastructure so I'm usually reluctant to engage with people on this side of our nation. It's not better either of the side.
But for igbos to conclude that Yorubas are poor shows you know little about us. Maybe you should travel more

I was in Ondo last month. Oboy I pity for them. To buy cold water is war. To my surprise they will boldly tell you its not cold, no light. What happened to buying generator to power your fridges? Mud houses everywhere. Those guys over there are layed back. If I go there now and open a proper shop equipped with gadgets, they will start to envy.

I don't get your problems with mud houses. These were built years back when your people were sleeping under the tree. The issue is that traditionally, Yoruba hardly demolish family houses since its most probably that their parents were buried there, so the houses becomes monument. And usually, younger generations goes to new areas for development. Secondly there are a lot of farm settlement that have grown in nos, these settlements have main towns to which they are attached.
By the way where in Ondo did you visit, Ondo town or Ondo State, if Ondo State, which town?
