It is very important for smaller cities across Nigeria to thrive and have the ability to attract and maintain investments. Our bigger cities are grossly overpopulated and it is impacting the efficient utilization of resources and long term planning.

Warri's case is what happens when community leaders, chiefs and politicians from that area can not get a hold of things in their community.

Rufai Oseni needs to stop with the sensationalism. There is a stark difference between 1 car getting jacked and over 40 cars as claimed.

Unverified public comments like these are dangerous and capable of instilling an irrational sense of fear in an already volatile situation.

The truth of this matter was the war between the three native tribes of Warri that caused it's downfall. The issue actually degenerated into militancy after OBJ won 1999 elections and decided with Ibori to ignore the problem. Insecurity drove the major companies to port Harcourt. That's what happened.

100%. Thief as governors also contributed. The past and present leaders of the state needs to be thoroughly investigated and those money they stole recover from them. I don't know why ibori can't be convicted in Nigeria too since he was found guilty of laundering the state money in the Uk. The traditional rulers are just another bunch of incompetent thieves too. when they could have demanded things that develop their communities all they care about is their pockets.

Some of these guys do not understand the amount of leverage they have. They want to enjoy the attention but have absolutely no understanding of the responsibility and accountability that comes with it.

I am impressed with the way SP Benjamin Hundeyin handled the situation. This is the same guy that was caught driving on BRT lane without any remorse.

(iii) Indiscriminate access to foreign exchange by selected marketers, while others are compelled to patronize the parallel market to obtain their Forex in spite of the huge significant difference, thereby creating unhealthy rivalry in the industry.
