As a car owner with two cars, using one for the hustle and been among the silent readers association on nairaland
Joined a telegram group here to learn how to increase my earnings by a veteran here who many folks look up to and mentors
After some months in the hustle, saw a post from someone in the telegram group looking for a rental. The telegram group being a closed forum with like minds I posted also that I have a car lying idle and up for rental.
In my thinking I could use it to earn extra income through rentals
So the person dm'd me and we agreed for 30k weekly because from his posts he nets huge and puts in the time so I thought he is ideal for the position
We met signed all relevant document and the car was given. After months I discovered this person was the same person that created this telegram group but used an alternate line to strike this rental deal. Inotherwords he has two numbers on the platform. That means I've been partnering with my mentor 😢

I appreciate the advice the pros here give. Thanks a lot.
Please I have a question.

Sometime back I took a trip to the airport which was my first time. I’ve read here how you can’t park anywhere in the airport and how hostile it is. That night a Good Samaritan led me to the car park which I dropped off and paid 700 naira before I could leave.

Now this is my question. I get trips on bolt to some hotel or agency which states airport road. Please will this trip lead me to the airport? Or it’s just a normal trip? As I decline such requests becuase gurus here have told me to avoid airport because I’m not to familiar with it.

Another question please. When you are to drop a rider in computer village, where do you drop them? Because most streets there don’t look like cars enter soo I drop them along the road.

I remember telling you that you don't have to go to the park to drop off a rider, drop off at the drop off zone and move, it's free of charge, you just wasted #700 just like that.

You still haven't answered my questions, I will help you again pretending like you don't understand the question.

how did Tinubu influence e-hailing drivers not to join the strike?

How did Tinubu influence e-hailing platforms to remove the features you mentioned above?

Finally can you please give us a breakdown of transportation charge by Agberos in Anambra and Lagos state?

In all the things you wrote up there and got 7 likes for, none of them answered a single question out of the 3 I asked you.

I will begin with the last question I asked you since it's the closest answer to what you gave me.

Anambra Agberos charge far higher than Lagos Agbero but the actions of Agbero in both states doesn't in anyway:

1. Stop drivers from joining protests

2. Influence e-hailing apps from removing advanced features from their apps

When you have an answer for me, I will be here. You can save your face by saying you have a personal problem with Tinubu. No qualms.

Let me add a final one.

You said these problems will get worse when Tinubu is sworn in on Monday.

Like, Tinubu will prevent more drivers from joining strike?

Tinubu will influence more e-hailing apps to remove more features?

How sir? 😁 😁

You need not use Airport car park for drop off.

Those trips you got are probably ajao estate and it would definitely take you through Airport toll gate depending on where your PU is. I really don't know much about Airport PU but as some of my ogas said, use car park if you get any request at Airport and be certain your rider pay for the car park.

For Computer Village, you don't have to enter those streets, drop your rider at main road/ Junction that leads to the destination. Just becareful with computer village guys as bad eggs plenty among dem. Confirm your payment b4 they leave

Make Bosses come shed more light to this

Very very ridiculous

I paid less for a client some weeks back, try it around 9-11pm.

Riders are the boss in ehailing
Owner's are the boss in other mode of transport business.

Even State government mass transits have all increase their fare to commensurate the effect of fx/inflation but all ehailing app are just using the colonial antics on Africans especially Nigerians yet most of us are still singing their praises.

If you try to open their mind to other more profitable ventures some haters will call you names while others will wish you evil. I don't blame them anyways. It's poverty mentality.

There is nothing one can do to a man who have been povertically brainwashed to make him change his mind.

Same reason is to why we keep recycling old and sick leaders into power despite seeing vibrant youths who can turn around the affairs of the country.

Infact, we need them in our society so the gap and respect btw the rich and the poor with continuously be relevant

Too poor. This thing about those cab at the airport is true. From Mm2 to Egbeda they charge me 7k but I bet you bolt won’t even charge me 4K

People like you will be fast to call a bolt driver thief when he tries to charge you offline for 1k higher than the estimate on bolt and 3k less than the airport taxies despite knowing bolt fare is ridiculously cheap. Some of you will even try to blackmail the driver.while other will use the psychologist tactics- pls it's the last money on me I used to fly... You get 120k to fly Abuja to Lagos for 1hr but you no get ordinary 5k to get home from MM2 to your house abi?
Wickedness, I never fell for this stupid lies or blackmail by riders in my days on ehailing... Oga if you no dey go try the next mumu.

No, it won't be 3k. It will be 12k. You know 12 plus 6k makes it 18k which is the same amount that the cab man charges cheesy

We are talking about the cab man's net earning, his take home after all expenses oh not gross earnings.

Let's not twist it. Card payment method can charge the rider double yet the driver won't even see shishi because his balance would have been counting -ve so he probably must have hustled backwards...lol

And when the cab at the Airport dropped you at Egbeda, he picked another trip 7k back to the airport abi? There's logic and matrix to survive every business, how you guys try to know the secret of what you are not into baffles me.

Zukwanu Ike

Just see as you dey reason, how much will bolt or indriver charge from airport to Egbeda?

Let's assume 2500-3k around 9-11pm
Getting a trip back to Ikeja on bolt would be around 1800-2k depends on the days of the week. A bolt driver can as well wait for hours without getting a trip at that hour mind you.

The airport driver has already factored his return trip in his charges so tell me why he has to wait endlessly for a trip back to the airport to pick another Egbeda trip?

Besides, who told you those airport guys don't have bolt apps on their phone to avoid blowing back empty.

You think those bolt drivers who congregate at the waiting lot with their apps on for a potential offline trip don't know what they're doing?

Currently the demand for 02-04 Corolla has gone up together with 99-2002 camry.

I'm saying again, think twice before investing into the business.

Please note, owing your own car isn't the end of your problems ooh or doesn't automatically transit you to total freedom either rather it even exposes you to a lot of greater challenges to deal with because you'll first have to deal with your own self being your own boss and then your car.
