National carrier with major ownership by an actual national carrier and 46% ownership funded via our dead excess crude account.

History will not be kind to Buhari. He is a complete disaster

I don't know how young people with two hands and legs wake up early in the morning to work and earn 45k a month in jobs without prospects!

When I asked a young security man where I work why he's wasting his life away on a 49k salary, he said he hasn't seen anything else to do. I just shook my head.

I mean, you have off days every week. You can't look for an electrician or barber to attach to for 6 months, learn the ropes and start earning additional income before you find your feet? You can never go wrong acquiring skills. The skills I acquired during my service year still fetches me extra income till this day.

If to say na old men that just need something to keep them busy i'll understand but not young guys

And from the little they earn, na so so bet Naija and and Naira bet. I really can't wrap my head around it.
Allow me digress a bit, about 3 years ago just before the COVID madness, I was in my office trying to 'burn some incense' when some junior officers rushed in saluted and said there was a huge issue... I ran down and saw Celestine (not real name) our security guard had gotten a makeover azzin the bros face be like meme. Upon inquiry on the cause they said someone parked his car outside, came back and didn't see the vehicle he was of course wailing and weeping only for Celestine to call his attention that he wants to show the man something, omo this man and him brothers follow Celestine go front of carpark where the boy stretched his hands and showed them a "CAR PARKED AT OWNER'S RISK" sign... needless to say what happened to him next was better left imagined, dem mend this guy till e face be like blowfish grin grin He's doing very well now after I encouraged him to go back to schoolwink

It was obvious the whole airline story is a scam, and a broken clock is right twice a day. Let inspector hundeyin enjoy the low hanging fruit.

The last thing Tinubu will be interested in is creating new national albatrosses. That is for Buhari who is clearly stuck in a rosy past where the government ran businesses
Actually, Nigeria Air will be run by private entities, with Aso Rock only having a 5% ownership interest
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by monerozi5590: 3:59am On May 27, 2023
To some, even if Buhari build glass houses for them and in front of them, they will still say he has done nothing. The hate for the man is already there.

To some, they don't want to see progress and development in Nigeria, as long as it is under Buhari's watch.

Bad news is like good news to some and good news is like bad news as long as it is under Buhari's watch.

He has his flaws and he is not a perfect man but overall he did very well. Just like he said here, he has run a good race. History will be kind to him.

May God continue to bless Buhari with good health even as he exit the office of the president.

What opportunities? Is Nigeria a major travel destination? Is Nigeria a travel hub?

Image? Setting up an airline will somehow improve Nigerias standing and reputation? And this perceived image boosting will lead to what? Cancelling of our debt? Foreign investment? That Moner something na aboki, what do u expect people that reason with their ass.

We already have multiple local private airlines in our aviation sector. So maybe you can explain what the addition of a poorly run airline will achieve.

For a country struggling with debt, reduced revenue, and an unbalanced budget this is nothing but an act of hubris and foolishness. Incidentally it is what African leaders have been lambasted for in the past. Meaningless vanity projects.
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 5:23am On May 27, 2023
Even person wey go university use 4-6 years , collect certificate with “pass” grade go talk say he don run a good race (Despite knowing deep inside of him the certificate will not fetch him anything in the saturated Nigerian labour market) .

He governed almost 200m Nigerians , the stats and economic indices showed Nigeria retrogressed under his leadership but since him and his praise singers believe he did well nobody should say things the way they are .

It’s only born failures that hate criticism and don’t want to read about their own failures cos of how shameful it appears before their eyes .

Even Obasanjo that many Nigerians believe did well more than other presidents since the advent of democracy , he still gets criticism from time to time for some of his actions and inactions despite leaving leaving office over 15 years ago.

If posterity will be kind to anyone , it’s certainly not Buhari for the 8 years he lorded over Nigeria with misery.

If u think Buhari did well overall, u must be really bad at cost-benefit analysis .

Honestly, My judgement will be biased here.

I will just say it’s a good watch for a drama and it is great shift away from the usual American/drama crime series cos it fuses the whole African spirituality with crime and action.

I’m still on season one and thus far I will rate it 7 sha .

We are in for a nice ride grin
Nah, the outcome of a movie is hardly ever known. We are not talking of Naija movies here cheesy

When I used to follow the TV series thread religiously and I see them talking about a newly released series, I unfollow the thread till all episodes are released and I've watched it.

Lmao. Sounds like beating well deserved. Was anyone blaming him for the car theft? Imagine the owner of the car thinking he wanted to show him the vehicle only to see CAR PARKED AT OWNERS RISK cheesy

Glad he's doing well now. I always encourage the ones I come across to further develop themselves and pick up a skill if they can't go back to school.

The problem with some of us is that we focus on the imperfections of the progress we make as a Nation.
While it is important to advocate for improved processes, let’s appreciate the progress we have made as a country - looking at our history and where we are coming from.
Statements such as “the election was a total sham”, “there is nothing good about Nigeria”, “The government didn’t achieve anything at all” are largely based on emotions, half-truths, or total ignorance.
As someone that works in policy and reforms, I’ve had to come to terms with the reality that while we will have excesses and wastages in the system due to weaknesses, we will still make some progress. In summary, success is not an event, and it will take time to build the systems and institutions that we want - but work must continue and we must continue to be optimistic regardless of what challenges we face as a nation. Yeah. Nigeria will continue to get better. Our prayers is for Tinubu to do much better than Buhari. Amen.

Most countries on earth is about packaging and rebranding. They should go to China and insult and talk bad about their government on social media if there won't be smoked. grin grin grin

Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 6:28am On May 27, 2023
Also, kidnapping became a thriving industry on Buhari’s watch. Research portal, Dataphyte, calculated that cases of kidnapping of schoolchildren rose by 361.19 per cent during the regime, with 1,010 abducted between 2018 and 2021
Insecurity so worsened during the regime that some state governors defied the current embargo on the issuance of firearm licences and instructed their residents to bear arms for self-defence. Governors Samuel Ortom of Benue State, Bello Matawalle of Zamfara State and Aminu Massari of Katsina State have made several calls in this regard.
Like u guys don’t understand what it means for kidnapping to increase by 361.19%

Like u don’t know what it means for governors to advice citizens to bear arms in a federal system where the FG reserves the right to license fire arms.

Everyone knows Buhari has written his name in gold with his restructuring of the constitution except haters, this is just few of his many legacies

Import substitution with many start ups here and there is worth celebrating also but to haters it is bad news.

The list is many but like I said, even if you show them all of these, is nothing to them.

Like the saying goes, sometimes you will lie to yourself many times that you will start believing your own lies.

Sisu is about a Finnish soldier that survived in the hand of nazi soldiers after they stole his gold

Nobody is a typical 2 seconds everywhere bust, the man went from a mumu to a badass killer

😂

Somebody who has already convinced himself that Buhari signing constitutional amendment centered on 3 major things ( states power to generate and distribute electricity , moving railway to concurrent list and financial autonomy for state house of assembly/state judiciary ) has proven Buhari has done well overall. Smh.

Even Glorious.Gbola engaged him to point out the opportunities inherent for Nigerians/benefits of the whole Nigeria Air foolhardiness and he couldn’t come up with anything convincing .

He’s talking about lying to one self . Some jokes write themselves , tell themselves and laugh at themselves .
