14 Ijaw Houses left Bonny to form Opobo and only 1 was Jaja house, still all his wives were Ijaws and he too was acculturated through ritual as Ijaw first. The land that Opobo was founded upon was owned by Andoni Ijaws and till today, Opobo people aknowledge Andoni for caring for their fellow Ijaws. Those that call Opobo Igbo, tell me what Siminaliayi Fubara name of Rivers State Governor elect from Opobo mean .
Opobo King just banned Igbo speaking last month. All the schools are now only on Ibani Ijaw.

GENERAL DITARI.

Brother, it has never been in doubt that Opobo is true and true Ijaw.
All other claims here from outsiders are just figment of their imagination.
They know the truth but they think that because some folks speak Igbo in Opobo, automatically, it is their land. Na ment

I am a true son of Opobo and they can only deveive their followers who haven't stepped foot in Rivers State talk more of Opobo town.

They shud continue fooling themselves, we are wiser
