I think the issue here was you have successfully uploaded the document to the IRCC portal but this was not transmitted to IRCC. I remember someone i was trying to assist had this same issue last year. When IRCC request additional documents from you, there is a button to click next after you have uploaded the documents and it shows replacement provided. You are still suppose to click next till it takes you to a page you type in your full name in capital letters (like you are signing) and it is submitted. Just the same process when you initially applied. The only difference this time is you wont be making any payment.

You can action as angie88 has suggested. Since a decision has been made, write a one page letter of appeal for a reconsideration and explain the situation to them. attaching the documents. Keep sending by e-mail and webform till an agent responds.

Yes I signed and it was updated to documents provide and the link for upload disappeared . Hence my suprise when I read the reason for refusal. Between, He’s a 1year old . I will keep sending the web form . Thank you

Yes, you can walk into the nearest DHL/UPS office to you and initiate the courier. However, transmission fee is to be paid only for those that did biometrics.. So for the kids, I don't think it applies. Since they did not do biometrics.

You will need to make the payment into vfs account, extract the evidence of payment in hardcopy then add it to the envelope.

HOW TO MAKE PAYMENT (Use the second account)
Payment of Canada Visa Application Centre Service Charges and optional additional services and Government of Canada fee.

In person - By Personal Debit Card in the Canada Visa Application Centre

By Mail - You'll have to pay the fees via bank transfer payable to "CANADA LOGISTIC COLLECTION ACCOUNT” and in Naira only.

When you saw that, you should have sent them an email or message through a webform to ask them questions because that might be human error, unless you were issued a “single entry visa” which is very uncommon these days.

The IRCC issues two types of visitor’s visas (multiple and single entry).

Multiple entry visa: which will be valid for up to 10 years or one month before your passport expires, whichever is shorter.

Single entry visa: A single-entry visa lets you travel to Canada only once. They hardly issue this single-entry visa, but when they do, it is for applicants who are taking part in a one-time event in Canada.

Even these days, people who are going for one-time events like conferences are getting up to 10-year visas.

Also, IRCC will not require much documentation from you because you were issued a Canada visa before.

If you are in Ghana, try to know if IRCC Ghana is the office where your passport was sent to or Nigeria, this could be decided by the category of your visa.

However, if you are sure it's in Ghana, visit the VFS office Ghana, you will be sorted immediately.

Check their website to see if you will need an appointment before going.. But if you will go as per passport collection, I don't think you will need to book any appointment. Just try be there within the stipulated time for collection.

we paid for the application fee plus biometrics for my wife and i which summed up to 470 cad

My wife's Biometrics letter came out instantly and proceeded for capture

mine hasnt come out till this moment , when i raised a web form about my biometrics letter , i got a mail that i have to pay for my application fee and biometrics and upload reciept to my profile . Rememeber i have already paid 470 cad which is the sum total of application fee and biometrics for us.
I have uploaded the receipt to the portal, but yet to get any response after 10days now

Has anyone experience any situation like this , whats the best solution please

This has been what I have been on with them since. U should have sent them mail to follow it up. After I uploaded,it was still showing "replacement provided" rather than "replacement received", I had to follow it up with emails and webform. Today, they sent a mail that it has been received and d replacement changed to received after 18days. Send them mails and webform oo

Please i need guidance on how to appeal for a refused visitors visa for my son.
The reason for the appeal was because his birth cert. was not included, which is not correct.
All his documents are complete, and i had to resend consent letter/father's ID when it was requested some week ago.
I would appreciate all response pointing me to the best course of action to take.

Is it at this point that we pay the 18 410 naira for home delivery or we still wait.

Also since the passports are in the same envelope, is it one fee we are supposed to pay or we pay for each person?
