One of the accusations that PDP has gotten in the last 8 years is that it’s a docile opposition. The party’s actions has however not helped their image any better as they seem to have proven to be a docile opposition indeed. For instance, at Tinubu’s inauguration yesterday, he announced that subsidy was gone. An announcement that has thrown the nation into frenzy and confusion and energy crisis of sort. Labour Party has condemned the announcement as hasty and not well thought out. Same has NLC and TUC done. But somehow, PDP is nowhere to be found. No statement. Nothing. Which has left me wondering and asking, where is PDP? Recall that some bulk of PDP supporters line up to offer their congratulations to Tinubu for being sworn in as president, including Reno Omokri, even though their presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, is still in court challenging the process and outcome of the election. Who does that? Nlfpmod Mynd44 1 Like

PDP has relocated their HQ to UAE Henceforth, it will no longer participate in Nigerian politics. The Exco has stated that, with immediate effect, PDP will only participate in UAE and American politics. |

I guess the umbrella was folded by the supreme court 'locus standi' judgement of may 26. Since then, people like rhenus, weaki and deano have being running helter skelter trying to find cover behind the broom. Others have simply hibernated leaving ateeku to take on the enveloped judishiary head-on |

PDP is not as loud. They have cases in court against Tinubu. It the only party that comes second next to APC in total number of governors, House of Representatives members and Senators. PDP is still the major opposition of the government of APC. 2 Likes |

taylor88: Please tell them. The way I’m looking at it, I see large chunk of PDP branching off to team up with Labour Party to present Obi for 2027 Presidential Election in case the Supreme Court allows Tinubu to enjoy his robbery. Because as things currently stand, LP has better chance of winning a presidential election in Nigeria today than PDP. I just don’t want any deal that will take Datti away as Obi’s running mate.🤦 |
