"TUC and NLC adopted PeterObi who vowed to remove subsidy, now shedding crocodile tears"

TUC and NLC lost the little integrity left in the Union as soon as they began dabbling in party politics. Unsurprisingly, it is not so difficult to figure out why. The two labour unions are currently led by people from the same region as one of the presidential candidate of a political party.

Same TUC and NLC that openly campaigned for Peter Obi who promised to remove subsidy 'immediately' if elected, and even further used the word 'will not wait a single day after'. Same Labour union leader are now shedding crocodile tears around. Playing opposition party.

Whether you like it or not. Removal of subsidy must stand. Subsidy died on May29. And we have no RIP to even waste. Gone forever.

You still want to blame Peter Obi for Tinubu careless speech. Yes Peter Obi said so but may not implement it assuming he became the president.

Well both are just wasting their time, people fail to understand the removal of subsidy removal and the impact it will cause. No Good governance can work well under subsidy except it is removed, highly level of corruption in it, almost the richest people in this country have business with Oil.
All this filling station should be forced to operate under so called Nigeria own filling station like NNPC, TOTAL etc by putting policy in place to have a clear cut of this IPMAN

Too much of lies everywhere. Obi said he will remove the subsidy if elected on the condition that the refineries will start production to a full capacity first before letting subsidy go

You guys argue over frivolities because you are petty, very ignorant, hateful, anti-develpoment and anti-Nigeria whenever you are not in charge.

Tinubu made no careless speech. Payment of fuel subsidy cannot continue a second after the Dangote refinery begins operation and is meeting the domestic PMS need of Nigeria.

Your God Obi, who was in the wicked PDP and praising it yesterday, is too ashamed to tell his ignorant fan how APC, though not perfect, has to be commended for now essentially freeing Nigeria from the damaging weight of fuel subsidy payment by doing all in her power to sincerely usher in an age where private refineries, essentially the death of subsidy for good, can open, operate and thrive.

All ultra-corrupt PDP did was to scam more money with so-called Turnaround maintenance (TAM) of government-owned refinery claiming those would then work optimally to meet Nigeria's domestic need and give the freedom to end fuel subsidy payment.

It never happened because the PDP, that Obi was a proud member of, were busy eating from both corner decietfully swallowing TAM allocation and skimming billions from the subsidy scam.

APC is not perfect but it will never be well for the PDP who led for 16 years while it is APC, even as no one is talking about it, that has now ended subsidy and will leave Nigeria much better off and economically richer through the capacity of the Dangote refinery and others soon to come.on stream like BUA etal.

Just a shame too much ignorance and olodo disease afflicting Nigeria otherwise it would be clear Obi was part of the problem and Tinubu a firm and lauded part of the solution that is about to now be a "game changer" for Nigeria.

SDP presidential Candidate, Adebayo:

Responding to the weighty claim, Osifo asked the SDP candidate to show proof or “take that back.” Despite repeated attempts by the TUC president and the presenter, Seun Okinbaloye, to get a retraction from the SDP candidate, he refused.

TUC president, Osifo then fires back at Adebayo:

https://www.channelstv.com/2023/05/31/tuc-president-sdps-adebayo-in-heated-debate-over-fuel-subsidy-removal/

Earlier on twitter, Adebayo criticised TUC and NLC for being partisan:

https://twitter.com/Pres_Adebayo/status/1663654854680625155?t=cuc6RH6cvAQu-JuKotfzvg&s=19
I was one of those that rejected subsidy removal in 2012. I don't regret it. My opposition then was due to the fact that I wanted Jonathan to fight the cabals that were benefitting from subsidy. His body language was like a defeated person and not someone who could tackle the cabals.

Now the party has changed, the cabals still remain and the amount has quadrupled.

Removal is the way to go - hard and fast.
