Nigerians are now competing with the government for running cost. The budget cannot be financed if we pay Oil subsidy. Oil subsidy is the only criminal noticed ? What about these: Corruption and bribery Inefficient bureaucracy Lack of transparency and accountability Excessive government regulations Bloated public sector and excessive government employment High salaries and benefits for government officials Expensive government-funded infrastructure projects Wasteful spending and mismanagement of funds Lack of tax collection and tax evasion Costly and inefficient public procurement processes Inadequate financial management systems Heavy reliance on foreign aid with associated administrative costs Prolonged political instability and frequent regime changes Insufficient investment in education and training of government employees High military and defense expenditures Economic mismanagement and fiscal indiscipline Expensive and ineffective social welfare programs Inadequate revenue diversification and heavy reliance on a single industry Weak enforcement of intellectual property rights Inadequate investment in technology and digital infrastructure Inefficient and costly healthcare systems Inadequate access to clean water and sanitation facilities Limited investment in renewable energy and reliance on costly fossil fuels High levels of bureaucracy and red tape hindering business operations Lack of competition and monopolistic practices in key sectors Inefficient and costly transportation networks Insufficient investment in agriculture and rural development High levels of public debt and debt servicing costs Weak regulatory frameworks and enforcement mechanisms Lack of effective public-private partnerships Rampant nepotism and favoritism in government appointments Limited access to quality education and skilled labor force Weak judicial systems leading to prolonged legal disputes and corruption Inadequate investment in research and development Limited access to affordable housing and urban planning challenges Environmental degradation and associated costs of remediation Inadequate disaster preparedness and response mechanisms Limited access to financial services and high transaction costs High levels of informal economy and tax evasion Ineffective and inefficient public service delivery mechanisms Cut the salaries of senators, merge ministries and cut down number of ministers, No serving Governor should have a house in Abuja, live in your state with your people, Politicians should only campaign with projects as primaries, anyone who has done more projects in their state or constituency should win the party primary. Cars should last at least 16 years, get mechanic to fix cars. Anyone with over 5000 employees, should have direct access to state government, to discuss ways to move the country forward. Anyone with a 100,000 employees should have direct access to the president in Aso rock, these will encourage private sectors. EFCC should only go after people that hoard cash or move cash abroad.....As long at it is Nigeria Money and its used to create jobs, EFCC should look the other way. Monetize real estate, make purchase scam free, have one or two websites guaranteed by the president to be scam free. There are alot of Nigerians abroad with cash to buy houses. This will provide forex Its no longer business as usual. There is no reason Nigeria should be poor..... 2 Likes |
