You can go and return the subsidy if you’re not okay with his statement.
It will be returned

If it is not returned, nigerians are going to troop out en masse to protest against its removal the same way Tinubu protested against subsidy removal during Goodluck Jonathan regime

Just like i have said before, minimum wage has to be in 6 figures so the salary earner can cope with the harsh reality of subsidy removal

no. There was no provision for subsidy in 2023 budget. It was Nnpc that was paying for it. That's why they didn't credit anything to federation purse.

I once worked at a place where I earned 70k as salary and had to leave after I found out that I could barely survive on it through the month not to talk of savings.

It was there I came to the conclusion that the Minimum Wage in Nigeria should be 150k.

See eh, the governors that are being begged to pay ordinary 30k salary to married men with children, are heartless.

Like, what is 30k? Still you don’t want to pay it.

I don’t even want to talk about those who owe salaries.

Nigeria is a trauma causing center🤦.
Tinubu will increase it to at least 50k.payment by fg is not the problem, can the states pay?
Re: Tinubu: We Will Review Minimum Wage To Reflect Current Realities by quinox947: 9:40am On Jun 03, 2023
How many Nigerians actually collect salaries. What about the informal sector that constitute over 60% of the Nigeria populace?

instead of constituting nuiscance on the street, do an go fund me of 580b that FG will need to sustain subsidy or better still get a license to import crude oil then you can sell yours for 185 per litre
Re: Tinubu: We Will Review Minimum Wage To Reflect Current Realities by Patriotsleague: 10:33am On Jun 03, 2023
Banish house of representatives, we are wasting money with two legislative houses, their functions can be carried out by senate, and other local government arms...save money, reduce the amount of civil servants, most don't do anything at work, instead invest the money in cottage industries across Nigeria, especially rural areas, to utilize crops and extracted resources, this will boost the value chain, create employment, multiplier effects, productivity and wholesome inclusive development, as well as reduce our imports volume. Most civil servants are liabilities to Nigeria, they sit there to exploit Nigerians. We need a small, effective, well paid and monitored civil service, use more technology for their services.

Angola is an Oil producing country like Nigeria, over there, there is still some subsidy on petrol, though not total

They have full subsidy on kerosene, diesel, cooking gas, gasoil

But Nigeria got no subsidy on kerosene, diesel, cooking gas and right now subsidy have been removed from petrol.

Now tell me, What is the common man benefiting from this country as an Oil producing nation

lols you think what Nigerian students pays is what FG is using to maintain their federal institution.

Your ignorance is legendary if you think nigerians are paying real market value of
Electricity, school fees and hospital fees in all federal institutions.

nigeria situation us critical compare to Angola, yet Angola has cut major subsidy funding.
If Angola was using loan to pay subsidy by now it would have been phased out instead of their 2025 target

You display of ignorance is second to none

Where is the electricity, is there any where in Nigeria that can boast of 18hrs steady electricity every day.

Have you gone around to see the state of our primary health care centres

Honestly, I pity you bro

Why is Nigeria in a critical situation, who are those who put Nigeria in a critical situation

Let's fix that first

Angola as a Oil producing country is subsidising kerosene, diesel, cooking gas and gasoil

These ones have already been phased out here in Nigeria

What is the common man benefiting from Nigeria as an Oil producing country

bro I guess you live under rock.
Where I live in Lagos, we have over 18hrs steady light. Infact generator is useless.
In a nutshell. Any areas that is 90% metered enjoys over 18hrs light .
Not only in Lagos other states inclusive.
In magodo area sometimes ago They fucking had 24hrs light over a month.
Leave trenches bro.

Petrol subsidy is one of the reasons our PHC are still like that.
Lagos Ibadan cost 300b to build from scratch .yet we pay 580b every month to subsidizes fuel that ends up in the rest of west africa countries.

Imagine we re investing over 7.8trillion yearly subsidy into education ,and health center?

Use your head bro

Nigerians are suffering, the subsidy removal only exasperated the situation

Tinubu wasn't supposed to start this way, there are other critical things to do not subsidy removal. No money will be saved from it
He should tackle the high cost of governance and corruption, he will save a whole lot of money from there
