Op I don't believe in the university like you but dropping out is a foolish decision especially for a Nigerian. Don't allow yourself to be deceived that degree is important even if it's a third class degree. No one cares about your grade just have a degree.

You can take the risk if you plan to stay in Nigeria working for max 300k a month or some remote jobs but if you want to leave Nigeria via means of work you can't bypass any developed country's immigration without a degree. It doesn't matter what your degree is in or what grade you have. Just have a degree.

I just came across this post & I want to confirm that this is absolutely true. They do background checks & some even contact ministry of education in the process of the checks to ensure the Bsc document is not fake.

In most countries your certificate has to be attested and even legalised to be used abroad.

That’s a big lie boss. A very big one in fact! What are you even saying. Bro i have 2 friends in Frankfurt and Berlin. They both got jobs from here and i know them personally they do not have degrees. I trust you know HNG internship right? A top guy there that i know personally is also in Germany. He left Ambrose Ali. These jobs with options to relocate literally take care of everything for you.

Another Nigerian who rather than ask, which countries mandate work visa applicants to possess a degree goes on to categorically state that it is a lie. Look, in most developed countries, it is either you have a degree or at least ten years of verifiable work experiences. For most average folks, getting a degree is the best option. The folks you mentioned are probably in the top 10% of coders (you stated it), but the majority of folks are average. No employer in the abroad is going to stress himself to employ an average person who has no bachelor degree when others possess it as it is what the immigration office is interested in, not whether the applicant can code or not.

Don't dull yourself...if you have 10 million naira in your account to day no embassy will refuse you visa...its not by bsc
...plus even if your looking for a job with your bsc...you will do exam to prove you meet them standard...
Professional certification is stronger than bsc...the producers are the ones testing you and you must retest every two years or get a better certification

This one has never been to any embassy before stating that no embassy will deny one a visa even if the applicant presents an account balance with 10 million naira.

You people just make categorical statements as if you don't conduct basic research before typing rubbish. On Reddit, a Ghanian was lamenting how he got denied Canadian visa even after showing an account balance close to 100K dollars. Una go just dey open una smelly mouth waaaaaaa
