Obi is a student of Zik.

Not only has Obi adopted Zikism with his stance on promoting a powerful central authority at the expense of states which Obi confirmed during the campaigns by insisting that the flawed 1999 constitution remains perfect but Obi has also learnt from Zik's mistakes.

Like Obi, Zik also enjoyed a fanatical youth support base that is eerily similar to the Obidient mob.

The Zikist movement were a violent rambunctious mob who worshiped Zik in what can only be described as a hero cult following.

Like the Obidient mob, the Zikist movement was composed mainly of Igbos with a sprinkling of other southern nationalities drawn from both the present day SS and SW.

But unlike Obi, Zik did not waste anytime in condemning and cautioning the violent rhetoric and actions taken by the Zikist mob.

In due time, the Zikist mob gradually began to dissociate itself from Azikiwe before totally abandoning him at independence .

Other than Zikist movement, the majority of Igbos will later abandon Zik over his refusal to support the rogue Biafran govt.

After the civil war, Zik became totally irrelevant as he lost not only his earliest supporters in the Zikist movement but majority of Igbos who saw him as a Sabo.

Zik did see some revitalization in his political career in the presidential elections of 1979 but this was as a result of the ethnic agitation that characterized the elections that pitched the SW with the SE. Some will argue that Zik only contested the elections to deny Awolowo any footing in the SE .

Back to Obi , and we can draw parallels with his Obidient and IPOB romance to that of Zik and the Zikist movement and the larger Igbo and Biafra struggle.

Obi will never condemn the actions of his headless mob nor will he speak on IPOB madness in the SE as he sees both groups as one and the same and condemning their excesses could see him lose their support just as Zik lost both the Zikist Marxist mob and his Igbo populace.

Zik is a non apologetic one Nigeria supporter, a pan africanist to a fault

Obi is not only an Ibo man, he is extremely biased and a core Anambra man that feels superior than other Ibos

Zik problem was the fact that he was Nepotistic and trying to please Ibos by fixing them into powerful position

Zik was born in Niger or Kebbi speaks Hausa fluently

Ojuckwu was born and bred in Lagos

Nzeogwu was born in Kaduna

Nnamdi Kanu is a British

Simon Ekpa is a finish reserve soldier and a lawyer

This men cause problems without even understanding SouthEast Politics

Is this supposed to water down their igboness ?

Nnamdi Kanu ,and Ojukwu, command more respect and following among the Igbo

Ekpa also enjoyed broad support until Obi came up with his lame ambition.

But he condemned Tinubu's drug peddling and certificate forgery.

He condemned the president's salary increment for himself and his political goons

He condemned crude oil stealing and abuse of power by the political class

Obi is the only president we need to succeed as a nation
