The lead story on the front page of ThisDay of Sunday, June 4th, 2023 entitled NLC Divided as North, South-West Chapters May Shun Planned Strike , is a laughable and desperate attempt by enemies of the people to polarise Nigeria Labour Congress along ethnic or regional lines on an issue with a national spread.

Happily, this scenario only plays in their imagination as Nigeria Labour Congress continues to be the biggest pan-Nigerian organisation united by a common vision/ mission and shared national values.

On the looming strike action, we want to assure that all the affiliate unions of the Congress stand together with an unshakeable resolve to prosecute, come Wednesday, except the NNPC and Government do the needful.

Whereas, primordial sentiments such as religion, region or ethnicity may be refuge for some, at the Nigeria Labour Congress, they have no place. What counts for us are issues such as the mindless and criminal increase in the pump price of pms whose burden will be borne by the already impoverished communities of the poor across Nigeria.

The burden of this malevolent policy will not be borne by other segments of the country to the exclusion of the North or South- West. Thus, there is no reason for these regions to back out of the strike.

We do not know from where ThisDay got their story. However, if this is their way of making up for the gaps in their relationship with the new entities in power, we would say, it is rather excessive!

Majority of Nigeria's rulers are just too wicked. These evil rulers can not subside their own allowances and other irrelevant expenditures...

Team tinubu target right now is to divide NLC.

Their plan is to do it through an imaginary christian/Islam or north / south, or ibo/south/ yoruba/north battle.
This is the tinubu way since immemorial

Have you observed that out politicians no long loot in millions of Naira? They only loot billions of Naira.

Our politicians are very wicked set of people. The want to remove subsidy so that they can have enough money to loot.

As far as am concerned, subsidy is the only thing the common man is benefiting from the government.

Buhari increased the price of fuel he didn't use the money to do anything instead, he borrowed more money for looting.

Make them leave our subsidy for us!

No genuine Nigerian, especially those Nigerians who have stood by their country through thick and thin will want their country to be run aground. None whatsoever. Ajaero or whatever he calls himself is highly partisan. He cannot lead a charge in this matter without exposing his fidelity to the desires of the Labour Party! Nigerians be cautious - the folks who went to war against us in the past are wide awake still. They may mouth patriotism all the time, but deep inside them is the desire to see our Fatherland fall into evil days. Do not agree with them the day they tell you that the goals and objectives of the mamba and the rat are the same!

That's Ajaero standing by Peter Obi on the Campaign hosting!

Divided by election..
United in suffering..

If SW or SE or North don't want to go to strike, it's fine, both strikee and striker must suffer the same faith.
If you are encouraging division in NLC because it benefits tinubu, remember another president will come, and there are other bodies in Nigeria that will divide later. Keep encouraging nonsense.

Fake news! NLC is National. The whole NLC strikes or it doesn't. There's no half stepping on this.
Either way govt need to do something to boost the economy rather than just remove subsidy and sit back.

Nobody is saying fuel subsidy should not go.. We are saying do the right before you remove it. You must provide suitable measures to cushion the effects of the removal.
