When you write “He shouldn't dare the resolve of the people”, which “people” are you referring to? You mean AJAERO + IPOB + LP + Obidient rascals?

You just watch and see MAJORITY of Nigerians teach your ALLIANCE OF EVIL a big lesson you will never forget.

We know the LP/Obidient Movement is spending a lit of money underground to fuel discontent among the populace and within the ranks of Labour Unions but you just wait and see how Majority Of Nigerians, who recognise the pain that the corrupt fuel subsidy regime causes Nigerians, teach you all a lesson and let you know who’s Boss. That a rascally percentage of you are very noisy does not mean the quiet minority are afraid of you or that you can have your way when you like.

You just watch and see, you senseless miscreants. This will be the last strike most of you will ever attempt again in your lives.

No need sounding insensitive!

Ipob and NLC members are not the only ones suffering out there!

If you have gone out there, you would know the level of suffering and discontent is astronomical and inhumane!

If things are manageable for you, don't belittle what many are going through!

You can't and don't punish the poor and demand obedience from them! No way!!!

So, speak for yourself.... NLC speaks for her members! In case, you don't know... NLC doesn't make decisions within a gathering of few top men! They actually reach a consensus across all states in the federation!

You can politicize and tribalize these issues all you want... The strike will still happen, and it will be massive!!! Except your elected or selected leaders come off their high horses and meet these people at the table of equity where everything must be thrown into the light!

What do you mean by sacrifice? Removal of subsidy is the biggest cut in cost of governance. There's plan also to probably double minimum wage. Are you guys about vendetta or are you ready to use some common sense? Do you think cutting the salary of politicians will help you in any way? You think they'll transfer the balance to you? Be practical and patriotic instead of this tiring senselessness in the name of being anti APC.

Totally agree.
They have kept silent on what they have to contribute by way of lowering their expenses so any 'savings' accruable it is assumed they will chop.

Someone was even saying today that Nigeria had been borrowing to subsidize so ending subsidy does not bring extra cash anywhere to develop the country.

Abeg labour should twist their arms so that the FACTS of this whole issue emerges since political opposition remains docile.

WHAT ARE CITIZENS GOING TO GET OUT OF THIS DEAL. In all major religions when you offer sacrifices you should get better not worse.

Perfectly correct response but therein lies the issue,so the government are saying we have failed in our primary duty to curb corruption n protect our border,we cannot fix it,it impossible so let transfer the burden to the people. The hope here is that the corruption will wither nature but they are not thinking that the corruption wont morph while the people bear the full brunt of their failure

the problem is the subsidized fuel is still looted and sold to neighbors Benin republic, Cameroon, Togo etc so we are actually subsidizing for them.

That is for your representation to discuss in the House of Assembly.

This should include cutting government operation costs, improving the delivery of refined oil to customers, fixing the electricity power station and building new ones.

Nigeria presently has one of the fastest development in refinery infrastructures in the world: I will suggest that TUC/NLC monitor the delivery of the refineries below and work with refinery suppliers to ensure that Nigeria has a competitive market to ensure a competitor. The subsidies has to removed

Any unbiased person or groups should clearly appreciate the urgent need for Nigeria to remove fuel subsidy or else Nigeria is heading Venezuela, Sri Lanka, Argentina and Pakistans way.

Facts
Only 3% of subsidized oil is consumed by 40% of the poor population which means the subsidy favours the rich anyway.

Nigeria budgeted 1 trillion for eduction 1.5 for health but 7 trillion for fuel subsidy

Nigeria does not attract FDI has no comparative advantage in any product or produce sadly including oil

Nigeria has low revenue income wek fiscal and monetary policies, if we are not carefull would not be able to pay its bills.

Nigeria has high unemployment

Very high debt with clearly no means to pay

The list goes on and on.

Clearly it seems that 🇳🇬 masses does not trust its government to do the right thing.

Anyone that wants to protest has the right to do so in the face of a sinking boat.

Our politicians are very wicked set of people. The want to remove subsidy so that they can have enough money to loot.

As far as am concerned, subsidy is the only thing the common man is benefiting from the government.

Buhari increased the price of fuel he didn't use the money to do anything instead, he borrowed more money for looting.

Make them leave our subsidy for us!

God bless you for me.
U too get sense.
Other Nigerians should see things from this perspective and ask deep questions instead of forming reasonable citizens whereas the greedy wicked political elite don't care if u go hungry, fall sick or die.
That's why I like CSOs like SERAP & HURIWA as well as people like Pat Utomi,Femi Falana, Rufai Oseni & other genuine citizens that criticize the bad policies and excesses of the govt

Nigerian government can't be trusted !

Neither can this present NLC Leaders, that is benefiting in the criminal and Illegal Fuel Subsidies payments, through Monthly Dues Collections be trusted and in fact, they are sustaining it!
They should just go to Benin Republic and Cameroon and see the number of Tankers fueling those Countries!
Let All the NLC, TUC leaders declare their Accounts,Nigeria will be shocked!
Since Mr Ajaero is a Labour Party man and is not happy that the Labour lost the Elections,he and others, are fighting indirectly to install their govt Hence, how can you be fighting a Week Govt in Power? They are Politicians, nothing more!
Yet for over 8- yrs, Labour leaders have gone comatose! They lost their Voice during Buhari's Era and why because they fear but failed to fight for Millions of Workers Welfares, including Pensioners - Gratuity and Pensions - with thousands Cases in Nigerian Courts!
Let every one go for Negotiations now.
Nigeria,as at today is too fragile to tell anyone to go on Strike!
Can NLC show Nigerians their own Proposals before they embark on strike!?
How much is their propositions and how much does that translates into Budgets for the Federal purse? They should table it before the Masses.

I don't think you understand. This is not about Subsidy. It's a gang up to frustrate Tinubu's government. Nothing he does will make sense in their eyes.

Ironically, if Peter Obi was president and he did the exact same thing Tinubu did, they will change narrative and say Peter Obi is decisive.

One thing people fail to understand however is that Tinubu didn't remove Subsidy, Buhari did. A supplementary budget will have to be passed for Subsidy to continue, but the 10th assembly does not even have a senate president talkless of passing a budget.

You see, Buhari set a trap for Tinubu just like he did during the primaries but I know that Tinubu will eventually triumph.
