Good evening everyone. I would like to apply for a visit visa this month. My cousin told me to find out what information should be included in the invitation letter and what documents are required from him.
Secondly, I was denied a study visa in 2015, I have the UCI number, is it still valid? I also have a valid express entry profile that would expire next month.
I am not in Nigeria right now, I live and work abroad. There is no Canadian embassy here, so I have to travel to Nigeria for biometrics if my UCI number is no longer valid.

I've called him repeatedly he claimed he met it like that too, my question is when a visa application get refused does it shows on the tracker that it has been refused because I got 3 messages before now and I've not log in to the account since last year
So I forgot about the application till I got a message that a response has been provided on my application the next message was my status has been changed
I logged in and i couldn't find my application, i used the tracker it showed this

Decision does not show on tracker or even in your portal. It comes as correspondence letter then the application status will change from "in progress" to "closed"

Your cousin invitation letter is okay but supporting documents should be more of yours. Since you are legally working in your current country of residence, present documents that shows strong ties back to your country of residence that would compel you to leave Canada back home. You dont need any physical interface with the Canadian embassy.

You can present your last payslip ( this shows you are currently in employment and still working), work permit or document issued by the government legalizing your stay etc. Dont forget to declare previous refusals and dual intent is also allowed per IRCC guidelines.

Overall, let your application show strong ties to your current country as long as you are still there legally and not out of status, you are good!

Have u received a message that your passport has been dispatched through their courier partner? If yes then just wait when it gets to ur state of residence UPS will definitely call you on phone.

I heard that visitors can switch to work permit if they get an LMIA job till Feb 2024.
I work in tech so I’m quite hopeful I’ll be able to get a job and switch to TRP. That’s why the visitor’s visa is my first option for Canada.

I am helping my sister and her 8 years old daughter to fill out Canada visa application. Is ok to use same email address and phone number for both mother and daughter.

I am using the new portal to apply.
