No they can't
But the court can order NLC and it's affiliate bodies not to embark on strike when their legitimate demands are not met

Dey play

This is nothing but a black market court order

And it will not stop the NLC and it's affiliate bodies from embarking on strike

Lol

I know you're pained because of this latest development, but you need to calm yourself down

Nobody is bigger than the Nigerian State

Don't forget this is how some of you said ASUU won't listen to the Court, I won't be shock if you're one of the people who waa saying ASUU won't listen to the Court. The Government will just proscribe the NLC If they disobey the Court order and only TUC will be recognize.

The Strike can't happen again because it will take at least 2 years before this case end up at the Supreme Court

By then, Dangote Refinery will be working, minimum wages would have been increase and other palliatives would have been introduce and people would have move on and forget about this little hardship

Majority Of Nigerians have choosen to suffer Today and Enjoy Tomorrow

You are very funny honestly

The only thing that can stop the strike is if the federal government revert to status quo... the old price so that meaningful negotiation can take place

We are not in a dictatorship

Will you agree with me you're a 🤡 if the strike does not hold?

Nah the same way una dey talk back then say ASUU no go obey Court Order grin

If NLC fail to continue negotiation, the Govt will keep on negotiating with the TUC.

Forget the strike, it won't hold

Whether the Strike hold or not, I am not here to argue that with you

The only thing that will stop it from holding is the federal government revert to status quo.....the old price

Budget provisions where made for subsidy up til June, June is just beginning

Even ASUU respected court order and called off strike last year after 10 months of strike

NLC is not bigger than Nigerian Court
I pray NLC disobeys the Court so that it will give Tinubu the opportunity to proscribe and disban NLC

Budget provision depends on so many things e.g
1.That the price of what you budget for remains the same
2. That you get the revenue you plan for

the subsidy burden is 400 billion a month but government has not paid NNPC and is owing 2.3 trillion which tells us it was audio budget

Two things
the budget is Federal government budget
NNPC is a company belonging to the federation i.e. The FG,36 states and 774 LGAs.

NNPC does not belong to the FG

It pays tax and royalty and cannot continue to incur FG debt indefinitely.
Summary There was no budget provision for 6 months. The NNPC has been carrying the subsidy burden illegally. The FG could not find the funds for its budget and is owing 6 months subsidy payment

There's a difference between Government budgeting money for something and Government releasing money to do the thing.

Subsidy don become history in Nigeria
