The gravity of what they've done is severe. To attempt to use the Courts to achieve political aims knowing fully well that such processes are contrary to law, means you want to bring the judiciary into ridicule before the society who may not understand what is going on.

According to your timid understanding. Court has proceedings. It should be followed accordingly, the lawyer was not serious hence the case was struck out. Tribunal continues.
In Most tribunal cases, it always seems as if the person in power will get judgement but at the later end, the plaintiff will get judgement. Obi should try his best whether he wins the case or not, it will warn the government in power not to rig with impunity

The Constitution stipulates 25% from two-thirds of the 36 States and the FCT.
It simply means a winner must have 25% in 24States of the federation. It could be 25% in 23 States plus 25% in FCT or 25% in any 24 states without 25% in FCT. Either way, it is still correct. Why then the fuss about the legitimacy of Tinubu as the rightful winner of the 2023 Presidential election. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

All of a sudden, the Judiciary are baring their fangs, and with an uncommon level of alacrity. Even at a time when there is a high demand for justice and low trust in the judiciary. 🤦🏽‍♂️

I find the aspect of threatening to disrobe the lawyers very interesting. Frankly, some lawyers love frivolous suits and there is need to check the spate.

He should be reported to the disciplinary committee for lawyers so his license can be suspended or withdrawn completely. This is the best way to clean the Augean stable ahead of 2027 elections so we do not have Igbo majority using politics of hate, lies and bigotry again in Nigeria.

Nigerians can see now how ,we Nigerians have been using- frivolity,delay tactics to cause problems in our Judiciary - through compromised Lawyers and Barristers ,who are either absenting on every time Judges are in Courts, with flimsy excuses!
Most Nigerian Lawyers will not be able to stand the No- Nonsense British Law Courts because delay is frowned at and can even make Lawyers to lose their Certificates!

The two HEADINGS in Nigeria's Constitution:
One heading on ADMINISTRSTION OF THE STATES;
The other heading on PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION.

The heading on ADMINISTRSTION says Abuja shall be administered like any other state.

The heading on Presidential election says a presidential candidate must win 25% of votes in Abuja before declared winner.

Judge like Ekwo wants to plunge Nigeria 🇳🇬 into a catastrophe from the way he conducts his court.

Why is it that all the suit against Tinubu is being struck out, or discharged without looking at the merits. Not only that, the applicants and their lawyers slammed with humongous fines and threats.
Like this lawyer threatened to be dropped because he went to court to get answers.

There are several exceptions as a huge number of Igbos don't reason like that but for most of them especially the hateful ones, this is spot on.
A close associate is both Igbo and Obidient but always maintained that he is very okay with Tinubu winning even long before the election. He said Tinubu would always build a great team to lead the government.
