I am interested in why their is no -+ before the % to BAT's week after stats, to denote ><. Abi the rest no get -+ ?

GeneralPula:

Probably a typo error.

First week had a +5.

Yeah, typo to blame right? Just as their's always an excuse to pardon for gross incompetence... everywhere here.

If you intend lecturing me, then do it right bro.

STOCK MARKET RESPONSE TO NEW GOVT

DAY ONE:
2023 — BAT: +5.22% (he met a +5.22 first day, probably due to FOMO).
2015 — PMB: -0.77%
2011 — GEJ: +0.14%
2007 — YAR: +0.00%
1999 — OBJ: -0.07%

ONE WEEK AFTER:
2023 — BAT: 5.28% (here's due to his input, without the -+, this could be a 0.06% drop or 0.06% increase if I care)
2015 — PMB: -2.46%
2011 — GEJ: +0.52%
2007 — YAR: +4.52%
1999 — OBJ: +2.75%

OP is a fool. Let him look at his table properly. He'll see that BAT actually underperformed OBJ and Yar'adua.

In a week, obj and yar'adua had stock market performances what increased by well lover 200% percent. That's investors showing confidence. BAT is struggling with a mere 0.8% increase. That is anemic.
You didn’t get it..

What was the stock before Tinubu’s inauguration?

Our stock for the first time had a +5.22% increase. That’s a huge one mehn! Many Investors been buying stocks since day 1 and still buying up till now. If it goes like this, our stocks would go way up before 6months!

Tinubu performed well more than Obj & Yar. Yar came 2nd tho!

Tinubu - First day brought in +5.22% increments into our stocks

Yar - First day brought Zero! But after 1 week, he brought in +4.%... Which is still below what Tinubu brought in on his day 1. Meanwhile, tinubu still had +0.8% increment after 1 week... Which equals +6.02% in his first week.

No wonder the Likes of Otedola, Elumelu, Dangote harvested billions on the Inauguration Day!

5% in a day is no beans.

Good returns.

If the government succeeds in merging the 2 official rates and devalue the naira close to $700, and make other sound economic policies in addition to Dangote petroleum coming on board, foreign money will pour into Nigerian stocks, and share prices will boom.
A lof of ifs there, but if things aline for Nigeria in the next 6 months, hmmm.
Especially if the security situation gets even better.

To President Tinubu -:
digest on the above Statement by Nigerian and others.
Asiwaju, you can still make Nigeria Great - by writing your name in Gold- appointments should be based on - Merit and Competence and Set Targets for delivery of Ministers!
Equally, ensure Accountability and Probity- by attaching Auditors to each Ministry!
Other Citizens can still flood Nigeria of 200million.
•How did Dubai- a once desert place becomes the World Delight- in Science, Technology and Financial Corridors of the World?
God bless Nigeria and Nigerians.

How does this translate to anything?

We are talking about cutting the cost of governance yet you want to appoint 20 SAs for what exactly?

Bro I hope you know what SA means, just in case you don’t it means Special Adviser. Theses are guys the president will engage in different fronts like SA on economy, SA on foreign policy, SA on security etc whose job is to study their portfolio and advice the president accordingly. And of course the president needs these people as he can’t single handedly handle all these fronts all by himself. I hope you gerrit.

At the bolded. How many Commissioners and SAs do your small state Governor have?
You should start this campaign from state level. 20 SAs is not too much for the president to have so far they’re going to be young and vibrant intelligent technocrats.

K think kwara state has 43SAs

A good example is FTN cocoa.

If you check their website, they have not made a profit in years

Stay there and be faulting everything the government does. Do you think the presidency is like class captain or SUG government?

Even in saner climes, Democracy is an expensive system of government. We can begin to throw tantrums if, after all these, the country is still the way it is or worse.

I think it is too early to start faulting any move.

What did Buhari achieve with all his SAs?

Good.

Its obvious we now have a leader.

Buhari fall my hand.

Sentiment will never allow you people to reason well. If a governor of a state could appoint over 50 SA and somebody is here questioning 20 SA for a President of a country. Wonder if you even know how many MDAs we have. A lot you people knows absolutely nothing about governance all you just want to do criticism, not even a constructive one at that.
