Please get back to Us after Confirming that

. Ovbi’ Adimila
The son of Adimila

Is one of the Oba of Benin's Praise names
I do not recognize anything like "praise names", that is an invention of you yarri.ba fanatics who keep trying to distort history.
By the way "Ovbi" is the same as "Obi" as in "Obi of Onitcha", it doesn't mean "son", it is a kingship/dukedom title.

You guys are just crazy. Please take your meds.
Each year you act with even less sense.

How these guys just fabricate stories is beyond me.

I really have a hard time understanding Yoruba revisionists and their madness.

No part of you people's discussion follows the laws of logic.

"Praise names" 😂🤡 the tricks you play on low iq people don't work on me.

You tell me and provide evidence.
The fact you think that you can just guess people's past with accuracy blows my mind.
You guys basically believe that you can perform the work of archeologists and historians without the doctorate degree, nor the tools, nor the sponsorship nor the necessary years to study the topic.
I guess egyptologist should come and learn from you.

When people are as uneducated as you guys and still think they belong in a discussion with adults, it gets really painful to watch.

Please define your 'agbole'.
And who gave the 'agbole' definition? Is it the Supreme Court?

The authority of Agbole is bigger than Supreme Court. The President of Nigeria has an Agbole. The Chief Justice of Nigeria has an Agbole. I have an Agbole. Do you have an Agbole? grin

If you dont have an Agbole return to your autonomous village sharp sharp

Resident of Lagos is different from indigene

To be able to claim to be an Indigene you need to be an Indigene of Yorubaland first

Fulanis that had lived in Enugu for 110 years were not only completely rejected as indigenes but were chased out of the SE

I am talking about Fulanis whose great Grandfathers arrived in Enugu with Lord Lugard in 1913
A Lagos indigine must first be a Yoruba no doubt but not all Yorubas are Lagos indigines.
So who are the Lagos indigines?

Please where is your own village?
Is it Ogbomosho, Ondo, Abeokuta, Ifo, Ilesha, Ota, Ibadan, Ilupeju Ekiti, Iwo, Ilorin, Oshogbo, Oyo, Sango, Ijebu Ode, Ife, Owo, Ijebu Igbo, Ede or Akure?

My parents are from Imo State but I have lived in Lagos for the most part of my life.
My younger siblings were born and grew up in Lagos and are still living here.
A lot of my friends and neighbours' parents are either from Ogbomosho, Ondo, Abeokuta, Ifo, Ota, Ibadan, Ilorin, Oshogbo, Ijebu Ode, Ijebu Igbo, Sagamu, Ilawe Ekiti, Owo and various parts of Southwest.
Please stop mixing up being Yoruba with being an indigene of Lagos.
So who is an indigene of Lagos?

You can be a Lagosian but does not necessarily mean you're an indigene. I am from Ondo state. I can never claim Lagos. I am not from Lagos.

An indigene is someone who can trace their history several generations back like the people of Lagos Island, Lekki, Badagry, Ikeja and so on.

You can add the Brazilian and Sierra Leone returnees who came in large numbers in the 19th century. The Brazilians were quite rich and a lot of the architect in old Lagos Island is actually Brazilian.

Many non-Yoruba have become one day governors of Lagos state. I think Lagos state also pays the WAEC fees for all students in Lagos state public schools irrespective whether they are indigenes or not.

Whether indigene or not, it is whether people are well treated is what counts.

Wrong! Yoruba are migrants to Lagos. Yoruba is not even a homogeneous group, it is made up of many ethnicities who agreed to carry the yoruba tag upon themselves. The name Yoruba actually comes from yarr.iba which is the first name under which oyo kingdom was written down.
Over the years, many groups of people including slave returnees from America took the tag upon themselves.
As I already said, the demography of Lagos has been changing drastically since the British took it over from Benin empire/kingdom. Heavy migration into Lagos took place under the British and in the colonial era, and it is still going on.
Lagos has a population of 20 million people, the actual indigenous people of Lagos are nowhere near 20 million.
What I don't understand is when some migrants (Yoruba) try to hijack Lagos and claim they are the indigenous people of Lagos ! That is a lie, they are migrants like the haussa and the Igbo and the guys from Benin Republic...

There are Lagos indigines no doubt but not all Southwesterners or Yorubas are Lagos indigines.

Yoruba see Lagos as a big bag of cash, that is why you will see them everywhere claiming Lagos belongs to them. Most of them don't know the first thing about Lagos. They just have some fairytales about Lagos and confuse that with reality.

Good point.
Meaning that those whose ancestors are from Ekiti, Ogun, Kwara, Ondo, Kogi, Oyo, and Osun states are not indigines of Lagos.
