@OP, Igbos have been living in Lagos and other SW states for decades, if not century. They have been deeply accepted into Yoruba communities where they prosper without any single act of molestation against them.
As you rightly said, many of you enjoyed free education from primary to secondary education here. This is not obtainable anywhere in the SE as non indigenes pay double or triple as school fees in your public schools over there.
Second, It's only igbos that always call Lagos a no man's land. No Hausa or Ibibio/Efik or Ogoni man would say this, not even Bini people who are somehow connected with the city.
Third, igbos actually made the just concluded elections personal and as having an axe to grind and a score to settle with Yorubas. They were everywhere making noise about this even b4 the presidential election. When obi won in Lagos State they were everywhere making noise. If you're constituting yourself as an opposition to the interests of the indigenous people of anywhere, you'll definitely bring hostility upon yourself. It's natural.

Yorubas outside SW should get ready to receive what ever law that is passed in Lagos .
