You got two things wrong in your assessment of the president. Asiwaju Bola Tinubu will never be an anti-Igbo president. Tinubu understands the Igbo hatred for Yoruba people long before he was even elected governor of Lagos state. A lot have been said about Tinubu appointing Igbos into his cabinet in Lagos, but beyond that, Tinubu supported Igbo businesses to grow. He will not be antagonistic to the south east in anyway.

Secondly, Tinubu will not bring any Alpha beta kind of arrangement to the Federal Government. As president, you have access to unlimited resources already so you don’t need to go extra mile looking for resources. Again, Alpha beta was a child of necessity to support the opposition movement back then after AD lost the south west to PDP’s rigging in 2003.

Tinubu has achieved his lifelong ambition already, he doesn’t need an Alpha beta kind of war chest to fight any battle again. He’s an old man who has seen it all. He will simply do the best he can for Nigeria and go home thereafter.

Infact he may choose to not construct one single runway in the SE and still win the next election. That is the danger of one-directional voting as a bloc. When you do that, you better succeed coz if not, politicians will see that the voting bloc is useless to them.

No the igbos did not vote for Abiola because majority of Igbos voted for Tofa. Infact, Abiola only lost in the Igbo dominated area in the whole Southern region except Anambra which he narrowly won.

Nigeria economy was doing fairly OK under Abacha and Abdusalam with prices of goods and services relatively stable. Inflation was low. Then the evil genus obasanjo came and prices of goods and service tripled. These is even with reliefs his government was getting from the international community.

Kudos to him out GDP increased in percentage over a period, but that was necessitated largely by the an increase and relative stability in oil price and also the cancellation of our foreign debts. A gesture that we alongside many third world countries benefited from.

Obasanjo was a disaster to Nigerians and set the tune to most of the Wong's in our institutions.

Now, would you compare the resources available to Obasanjo to that available to Buhari? Resources available to both differ yet Obasanjo struggled to put necessary infrastructures in place.

Yeah sometimes, I wished Buhari was even as dictatorial as obasanjo was as president who doesn't give recourse to the constitution all the time. Who know, PMB would have fought corruption to the level we all expected.

Would Obasanjo have been able to navigate Nigeria through two all time oil price crash? Would he have navigate Nigeria through a world pandemic and a war that is currently ravaging the world and would take decade for the world to recover?

You see there is little or no difference in Tinubu and Buhari and you are already falling for the same set of propaganda they deployed in 2015.

Referring to Buhari's appointees as almost illeterates is unfortunate. Adamu Adamu might be a nonesense minister of Education, but he isn't an illeterates as he is a PHD Holder. So therefore Tinubu's appointees won't be different from that of Buhari.

Lagos under Tinubu was the second wôrst city to live in but his boys made it good, u didn't praise him for his boys making it good but u cóñdemñ him for his boys not doing so well in other states.

Tinubu is very smart, proved that you just have to win first before you unveil your hidden intent which might cost you victory. This he did in a most sublime way.

Also, Tinubu isn't bad as he's been portrayed before the media. He's more of a negotiator and keeps to deals. He's astute and a mafia manager who combines a perfect management of mentees and prudent use of resources.

I've got no doubt, he will do well as president and prove naysayers wrong.
