Had a great afternoon with my brothers Senator Mohammed Hassan, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu (our incoming NSA) and Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila (the Chief of Staff to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu) today. We had a wonferful time. Thanks be to God.

Not sure how Nuhu Ribadu will function effectively as NSA given the many ongoing military operations in the country as he was not a military man but police officer. Would the rank-conscious and superiority-minded Generals at Defense Headquarters interface freely and smoothly with him? Time will tell. But no doubt a bold call if eventually made.

In fairness, Alhaji Ismaila Gwarzo a retired Nigerian high ranking security and intelligence official and who was also a police officer was once NSA but under late Gen Abacha, a military president.

what I have been thinking too. But Gwarzo worked something related to this during the military era. So this man might still do same..... But these military generals ehhh... Well, time will tell
