It seems like the only West African country taking Islamic terrorism seriously is Ghana.

There's a region in Nigeria populated by Christians and dominated by Igbos.

That region will not play host to any Islamic terrorism of any sort as there are few mosques to harbor them there.

The Muslims in Igbo land are contained and not up to 2% of their entire population.
