The counter offensive will fail just like in Bakhmut but it may take up to one year.

In fairness, one should wait until July before appraising Ukraine's counter-offensive.

The big initial push failed of course. But they still have lots of recently-acquired materiel and tens of thousands of men to throw. Putin should start mobilizing another 500K. After this counter-offensive fails, the entire country is his to take or pummel.

After the F-16 and Abrams, there is no more wunderwaffe to send.
