Your people are very backwards and not properly evolved. Government policies are criticized everywhere. All you do is hail and call everybody "hater". Your backwards monarchist mentality is unsuitable for 21st century democracy.
I don't engage with loser

Check data and see the gap. This gap will widen and school fees increase. Poor yorubas. The data is from 10 years ago when you claimed you served. Check which people produced more Corp members that time

How far with school feeding program.? You compare your incompetent nepotistic government with USA? What is the rate of getting job after school in both countries? Shebi you are now exposed and copying USA? But you will destroy ballot boxes in Lagos during election and start looking for protection law? See who is exposed

I would be wasting my time chatting with you. If you don't want any student loans I am sure nobody will force you to take it.
It is an option for those who would otherwise not have the privilege to get a higher education.

Of course it's for people who are so poor that they can't afford school fees.

You can put it however you want to. But I have seen similar systems in the US, Canada and other advanced countries. If it works for so many "poor" people in these countries there's no reason it wouldn't work for "poor" people in Nigeria.
You can really reason or argue beyond what your limited exposure.

What then are we now enjoying as citizens of this country?
With the padding and assistance that full secondary school in Nigeria, without a university education many people will operate at the reason level of apes. So that more tyranny and evil ploys can be machinated on them.
After the Protest by Africa and his guys in OAU, Ali must go et. Al

An evil government knows that its bane is an educated populace. These are people who enjoyed free education under Awolowo.

The loan will be hard to get, it will be devoid of merit and will give our politicians the opportunity to sleep with underage girls for admission loan
But that one aside.

What will you do with these money?
Taxes
Surplus from subsidy removal
Eventually removal of subsidised education

Flyovershuh
Ehn?

We are in trouble..

I saw local government workers trying to implement Obasa championed law for Disparity in land use payment, going from house to house and filtering landlords.

Una never know anything.

When education dies, you have no safety, no progress, no civility, you have animals.

Nysc will show that even our university graduates are still not there mentally, Imagine a country without even that?
Mhmm

A country that is flaring gas for more than 65 years cannot offer free tertiary education for its citizens.

Well, as I said, Books will replace university education.
I'll try to upload those books and more for those interested.

People drop out because they have better options, if u have better options, u won't have problems paying back the loan.

You obviously didn't attend a university. People dropout for various reasons which can emotional, mental, psychological or physical and it's not all positive.

What happens to a student that has an extra year, how is such a student expected to pay for the spill over?
I'm not trying to trash the bill but i think it was signed hastily, probably as a favour to Gbajamila.
I probably didn't attend a university?
For the records I got my first degree from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria in Chemical Engineering with first class honours and that was my first degree.
I saw people drop out, people dropped out because of money and because they got better options.
U keep asking irreIevant questions tho.
A loan is a loan.

The Student Loan is what helped a number of today's elders fulfill their dreams for good education. It will make it easier for indigent people to go for higher education. Those that can afford it will pay on their own.

In the late 70s and early 80s, we had bursaries (at least in the South West) which was sufficient to cover all fees for each session. That was given to everyone who applied provided you got admission and your LG Chairman signed your form. It was the Military coups that put an end to it.
