Awwwwww, so sweet
Congratulations to both of you🙌

Ashirioluwa:
It was a long process, but finally the wait is over. A passport request email popped up today, June 13, 2023, for my wife.

Timeline:
Biometrics on file since October 2016
Application submitted: December 2021
BVL: April 29, 2023
PPR: June 13, 2023

IRCC can make BP go up. Since the BVL came out on April 29, I didn’t send them a single PPR-related communication or reminder. I just allowed them to suit themselves

Anyway, until this morning, my wife was unaware that I applied for her.

I wish you guys more success stories.

Wow!
Have you been able to collect yours?

I got 3 emails on 7th of June, 1st it’s ready for collection at Abuja, 2nd it will be dispatched to where I applied and the 3rd that it has been dispatched (see attached). But the last email instead of it has been dispatched to Lagos, it still stated Abuja.

I’m yet to receive it from the courier service that I opted for so I’m not even sure of where it is.

Did anyone experience this please?

Thanks.

Hello everyone.

I am currently on a PGWP, and I'm working on applying for a visitor visa for my parents and siblings for a few weeks. Any recommendation on how best I can go about this?

The application has to be a group one with everyone having individual invitation letters and explanations, right? How best can I show my siblings proof of ties back to Nigeria as dependents of my parents? I look forward to your answers. Thank you.

Job, business, assets, investments, if they’ve der own family can include that too. If they’re adult, they should include der personal bank statement to show they’re doing well financially.

To those that are already in Canada, please was your passport stamped at the port of entry?

If yes, what happens if one passport wasn’t stamped?

Please what do you mean by code on the sticker? What sticker? I submitted to Abuja via DHL, paid extra for sms charges. DHL says delivered since yesterday but no update yet.

Same as mine. Dhl dropped my passport at the VAC since 6 June and i have not heard from them. I sent them email of my payment for courier delivery. They haven't responded yet. I hope all is well

I did not apply for her. I only followed up the application as a big Aunty 🙈 so I don’t know the documents they submitted. Maybe someone else on the group can help you

Canada border officer don't stamp passport anymore.
They do it only on very rare occasion.

Inbound and outbound passenger are registered electronically
