Idara Gold, the young girl from Akwa Ibom and Biafran supporter, who was arrested by DSS and spent almost 2 years in detention just because she celebrated her birthday in Biafran attire

Idara Gold has since been granted bail, and in an apparent act of defiance to the DSS and authorities, created a new Facebook page called Gold Biafra, and reposted the same picture that made DSS arrest her.

She also told her followers that her old Facebook account had been compromised while she was in detention and she would no longer be using it.

Bold and courageous girl. I like people that are stubborn when they're on their right!

The Akwa Ibom girl should be advised to open a Twitter account i.e. if she doesn't have one already and cash out from her growing popularity. She deserves some consolation earnings for her troubles.

She should also seek asylum from Western countries, citing persecution. She has strong ground to get it.

Don't believe most of what you see online. Below is a group on facebook mentioning she's from Rivers. All in a bid to generate the wrong perception.

Secondly, not everyone residing in a town or State is indigenous to the State and definitely in no way represents the views, beliefs or principles of the people.

Thirdly, the so-called repost was most likely not done by the released girl. There are a lot of trolls online trying so hard to disseminate misleading information, in absolute contrast to the reality on ground.
