Chestbeaters must always boast, it’s hereditary🤣
Mumu doesn’t even know that IPMAN is an association and that Okoronko being their National president is just like a mouthpiece.
Ode, IPMAN is not a one-man entity, so it’s expected that common sense should have told you that the decision was not from him alone.
That’s how one fellow mumu like you was boasting and saying that the Lagos state government is now benefitting from an Igbo man I.e innoson just because LASG patronized him for the purchase of compressed gas buses🤣 like who’s helping who?
Who do una this strong jazz?
Lagos state ignores innoson to buy from Toyota
Ipobs: oh, Yorubas are tribal bigots, they don’t encourage ibo man’s business because they are envious of them.
Lagos decides to patronize an Igbo man
Ipob lunatics: you see? We told you they can’t breathe without us, we are the light of Africa. We developed India, Bangladesh, South Africa, Kenya, Pakistan, Nepal, the USA and Canada to name but a few grin
Igbos and inferiority complex grin

CNG filling stations would have been made available before the removal of subsidy, this is pure medicine after death.
The City of Benin was used as a pilot scheme to test run the efficiency of CNG by either Yaradua or Jonathan government "I can't remember", about six of the filling stations were established in Benin City, they still run till date but it was never replicated elsewhere as planned.
Fewer vehicles use CNG in Benin because of the absence of the stations outside the city. Many vehicles would have been converted from PMS to CNG but that would mean they may never be used outside Benin which discouraged many intended users.
Government knows exactly what to do to get things right but policy summersault has become the order of the day with successive government.
Wow this is interesting.
The government weaponizes poverty. If every Nigerian becomes comfortable, it becomes difficult to manipulate them and they would hold government accountable grabbing them by the throat every single time. They don't ever want this

Please is it possible to convert a PMS car engine to CNG?

"IF", a tiny but very powerful word

Look at you, helinues placing your entire hope on the word "if".

Shame on you helinues.

So you can't demand that the government you worked so hard to bring to power should use the money saved from subsidy removal judiciously.

Helinues, don't be deceived, no money will be saved from subsidy removal. In fact, there is no subsidy paid on fuel rather what Tinubu just did is merely fuel price hike
What do you mean by no subsidy is paid on fuel?
Kindly educate me

Really? CNG does not explode? It burns but doesn't explode? For real?
Since it is fuel, it can catch fire. But you need very high temperature to make it catch fire making accidental combustion of CNG unlikely.

I live in Bside, am going to ask how much it will take to convert my car today. I can't be buying PMS anymore. Have CNG centers close to me.

dyera:
CNG is different from LPG / cooking gas, it is not inflammable, it does not explode.
CNG has been accepted as clean fuel, but due to its volatility in nature, they cannot even be used as cooking gas .it has
◾a high Auto-ignition temperature (540°C) and
◾a narrow range of flammability of 5 to 15%.
the typical failure mode for a CNG tank isn’t a leak; it’s an Explosion. But effective safety precautions can minimize tragic occurences

It is very volatile with high auto ignition temperature (540°C) and has very narrow flammability range of 5 to 15%.

Negligence regarding outdated or defective CNG tanks can lead to powerful explosions, serious injuries, and in the worst-case scenario, avoidable fatalities.
Although they can last up to 15years, professional inspection is recommended every three years or every 36,000 miles, whichever comes first

It will be safe, the conversion kits are good.
My take is that insurance companies will have to step up massive awareness scheme for vehicle owners that run on CNG should ensure they have comprehensive motor insurance instead of 3rd party motor insurance

Warri mumu... Not everyone is fooled by your 'Igbo this, igbo that' syndrome...

So we should appreciate Chinedu that brought that initiative but we should not appreciate Tinubu that made that decision to remove subsidy in the first place?

Be rest assured that the money will be looted and the same story continues, the fuel we are even buying at exorbitant prices as it were has already been subsidized till June and yet we are paying so much to get it.

Let me use the current scenario on Cooking gas.

When they told us that they removed subsidy on cooking gas, the price stated moving up. We questioned the rationale behind the price moving up to almost 950 per kg, when they couldn't find answers, they blamed the Dollar to Naira exchange rate. That Dollar rate is high

Now Dollar rate is still high, but cooking gas price is coming down to 600 per kg. What is the explanation now

This is what is happening in fuel. They jack up the fuel pump price and blame it on subsidy removal

Energy Revolution Sparked By Exiting Of Subsidy Regime

The subsidy removal and its attendant effects have forced us a people to move out of our comfort zone, beyond the comfortable. And, that's what makes life interesting. It's when one is challenged that one brings out one's best.

We are entering a new phase in our energy consumption culture. Although, in the article it is suggested that CNG would not replace PMS, but who really cares? As long as it serves the purpose and needs of millions of Nigerians.

So long, petrol!!!
