I am saying this that no building collapse has been reported in that Alaba axis but the building collapse is in Lagos Island, will you leave soneone that has full blown disease to start treating someone with symptoms
I get ur point just don't be sentimental. If labsca said it's weak and due for demolition let them do their work. Alot of building are also Marked for demolition on the island. One of my ancestral home is marked and as at today all occupant has been advised to leave.

Is the government going to rebuild it after pulling it down?

Anambra is demolishing houses owned and built by igbos, if they demolish houses owned and built by yorubas or Hausas, there will be uproar, go and demolish the decrepit houses in lagos Island where building collapse is a pandemic before coming to alaba where no single building has collapsed
Are you saying government should not do anything about this?

Demolition should be all encompassing, Lagos Island, alaba, badagry, surulere , ogba, fagba, ojuelegba, olodi apapa.

The present targeted demolition is nothing but a clear sign over zealousness of someone who loves his neighbor more than he loves his brothers
When over 20 houses were demolished in Banana island last year did any of you say anything?
Demolition has been happening in lagos island, Ebutte-meta, Agege, Isolo. How come this time around you people want to claim victim, 2 months ago FAAN demolished houses around the airport.
The govt said they’ve informed the owners of the dilapidated buildings since 2016 and they didn’t do the right thing.

To say the truth, the biggest historical sin of the Yorubas is the swiftness in which we quickly accepted the Igbos back and make them too comfortable in SW after the war. If anything like war happen again, I don't think the Yorubas will be so stupid again.

Soludo has demolished 100s of houses in Anambra but that is not a problem... The problem is that Sanwo-Olu can not do the same thing in Lagos because we have some persons that are impossible to please here. Yet they have blamed Tinubu and Sanwo-Olu for all the building collapse we have had in recent years.
I guess the stupidest blunder was the swiftness in which Yoruba joined northern region of Nigeria in the fight to bring Biafra back to Nigeria.

Is there any part of Lagos that belongs to the Igbos??
I guess Lagos State government lacked prudence. Entire Lagos State is in a state of decay, yet Alaba Market creates the most concerns.

Lol you have no idea the kind of victimisation the few Yorubas in SE are facing. They don't even participate in elections. I once lived there.
500,000 Yorubas in anambra are not few and we don't even know they exist. We don't go to their backyard to cry over being disrespected every day.

If these buildings collapse and kill people, they will blame Lagos state government for not being proactive. Now that Lagos state government is doing the right by demolishing the buildings, they are making it about politics and ethnicity.
How do know that the pictures were taken at Alaba international market? You no longer ask for proof or verification which I do see in your numerous posts in authenticating information posted here, but you have suddenly accepted this unverified pictures as real because it's laced with political ethnicism, you are nothing but a hypocrite. Any sensible person would not fall for such cheap scam unless they are biased.
