I bought this Samsung A14 today I Don dey use o, light no dey, is it a must to charge it? I found 56% bar on it since 1:50pm to this time 9:11pm,it on 24% now.

I also use th phone. The battery is very strong ehn. I mostly use it as wifi though

It's not a myth, but it's outdated. Most devices today use li-ion which don't need such charging.

Any manufacturer who demands a full charge is only doing that so your first use of your phone is long and satisfying.

Recent phones dont need charging before use. When I bought mine in 2020, I started using it as soon as I got home and till now the battery is still the same nothing change.
