We need to know the context or the background to this complaints.

Was it a case of a public official using Yoruba for a public and official communication?

If so, the complaints are justified.

Otherwise, they are not the intended consumer of the information.

If yorubas don't stop you from speaking your language, what is wrong if they choose to speak their own? So far the person he/she tag on social media or elsewhere can understand, what is the problem of others? Don't forget that these yorubas still remain the most educated and enlighten in Africa. They are leading in entertainment, banking, telecommunication, media, education, sport, religion tolerance and culture. They have packaged their culture and language well especially in entertainment that even white men and women are queing up with money to watch them.

They are leaders in many foreign nations of the world. While other tribes in Nigeria lost their cultures and their languages going into extinctions, yorubas have held on to their own like Chinese, Japanize and many other developed nation of the world. Can any tribe in Nigeria even speak English more than them when yorubas are the ones that even translated English Bible into their own local languages like Igbo Bible?

Speaking yorubas is not because they are not educated in most cases because they own best schools in Nigeria among private, state and federal university categories, however; it is better for white men to come and learn yorubas as many of them are doing now. It is the same good Yoruba culture that taught them how to respect their elders while some cultures are kicking their own elders.

When Tinubu was campaigning, he spoke English in other regions, but once he entered Yoruba land; he began to speak Yoruba language where many people across Nigeria and the world learnt "emi lokan", meaning "it is my turn". He is president today; has he not been communicating with rest of Nigeria and foreigners? Was he speaking yorubas because he was not educated? No! Yet, he is more brilliant than that 3rd class person that is looking for mandate that is not lost. Many tribes should drop their arrogance and learn from yorubas how to grow their cultures, languages and even export to other foreign lands.

This is something every Nigerian knows. When a non Yoruba stays with Yorubas, Yorubas always communicate to exclude others. But put the yorubas in same condition and they'll be like "ah is Nigeria no longer an English speaking country, why are you blowing your language?

Blending with people is the basis of integration. Yorubas score zero in this regard.

Ibo are suffering from inferiority complex, they think abandoning their language and speaking queens English with a fake accent, makes them woke and civilised. That's why bleaching is also rampant!

They envy others speaking their native language because they have tactically lost and abandon theirs

Re: Ndi Igbos Tell Government To Ban Yoruba Language by AntiMarxist: 5:20pm On Jun 22, 2023
For Marxism to seize power, cultures, religion and traditions must be abolished.

This is what Ironsi indicated in his speech ushering in Decree 34 - the by force unity decree.

I have always maintained that Igbos are easily swayed by Marxism because among every single national in Nigeria, the Igbo comes way short in culture, pedigree and pride.

It's for this you see Igbos lamenting the most on purported "hate speech" or tribalism.

They know your greatest defense against their Jewish poison is your pride heritage and that the only way you can allow them rule over you is when you ignore their inferiority .

This is how and why Jews keep promoting equality and diversity

I love the new vigor and proud resurgence of the Yoruba language and speakers, it's taking over our landscape, it's almost the unofficial Nigerian language, it's the dominant language in social cultural and entertainment scene.

If you don't speak or understand Yoruba, you better go and learn because it's your future..

Na colonial mentality dey worry them. I am guessing the replies are likely from a skit. I have seen similar replies on various skits on instagram. They can create their own skit in their mother tongue too.

Soon, they will start telling Davido, Burna Boy, Wizkid, e.t.c to stop putting Yoruba words into their song.
