Super Eagles striker, Victor Osihmen reportedly paid a courtesy visit to his old friends in the Ojota area of Lagos State, where they shared a reunion.

The Nigerian international grew in the area and attended Olusosun Primary School during childhood.

Following his successful season after leading Napoli to the Italian Serie A, having scored 26 league goals, the forward returned home to reunite with his old pals.

There was indescribable joy on the faces of the friends as they took turns to share hugs with the former Lille of France striker who is nicknamed 'Ijaya Olusosun'.

Despite his current status, Osimhen has always paid a courtesy visit to the hood anytime he is in the country, The Cable reports.

A group of friends under the aegis of ‘Olusosun to the World’ has always celebrated the player’s successes.

Recall that they splashed the cash on a cow and partied all night to celebrate the player's Serie A glory.

And fans have taken to social media to commend the striker for reuniting with his old friends. One said:

“This is what it should be. Never allow pride make you forget your roots, it is God that elevates a man. I love the way he hugs them, it shows his simplicity.”

Another added:

“You see those guys he’s kicking and pushing away? They are his real Gs!”

A fan wrote:

“This is Oregun High School, I know all of them Musa, Mopol, Chidi and the rest. But I didn't see Carlos his coach.”
