I doubt there will be any real difference in price. You still have to pay duty on cars from Cotonou except smuggled ones.

Who is going to risk his capital on smuggling? Customs no dey like police o, their bribe no be here. It's one thing to underpay, but to not pay at all?

And as for we the end buyers, no one in a right frame of mind will waste money buying a car without custom duty.
