My advice to Nigerian men, have a lawyer on standby, if you're not struggling to eat and have started building assets. Some lawyers will only collect monthly retainer as low as 20k. Next, use technology to your advantage, when heading into an hostile territory like police stations, we have body cams that can be disguised like a button on a shirt or a pen, these small devices can be the difference between court sentence and acquittal. Finally, do not argue with police officers, in fact the less you say the better and remember appearance matters, how do you walk into a police station with slippers? No wonder they treated you like agbero ![]() |

The devil himself is better than any police that is a saint. No police officer will die well and if any police officer mistakenly died well, he/she will not sleep well. |

Honeydenz:Rather than for you to count yourself lucky for having rare breeds of humans as parents, you just came out of the blues to speak on behalf of all the police officers in Nigeria. You don't know what God has done for your family by connecting the two decent people in the force to marry and produce you and your siblings. My dear, just consider yourself and family favoured. Note: On second thought, I don't even trust what you've said about you or parents, you may be lying. You wont confess the whole truth. But one thing is sure, your conscience will tell you that what I wrote about police officers and their children's lives is true. |

If I should remember how this idiots called officers dealt with me some years back, when I see news of officers being killed I never feel anything for them no atom of sympathy for anyone of them who misfortune befalls them, they accused me of kidnapping for no reason, I had to spend almost 100k just for bail. |

Since the day End Sars protest was tagged Igbo Project and Igbo Protest here on Nairaland was the day I gave up on Nigeria. Let the brutality continue on those who like it the way it is. You people are not serious |

The places in this country you should not go to .....the hospital to suffer.... ....the Police station......instead to help ,to see how demons graduate into Satans ..... Heart breaking that they're humans and I know some saints amongst them. .....Next place is the grave yard |

This is a pure naivety, please pardon my crudeness. I think you already formed an opinion about the NPF before you landed at their door step. You showed this attitude and they gave you back real time. Firstly, they took advantage of you, perhaps as a young fellow. Secondly your attempt to use your phone to capture their activities which they detest. When it escalated to the level of being detained you should have ordered to see your lawyer, which I doubt you have. Do not take issues with constituted authority(s) especially if you are the only witness. Remember a police officer will not go against his/her colleague(s) especially in this scenario. Sorry about this unpalatable experience |

I don't know what to tell ya Bruh but I guess you are a thug that needed to be humbled. You caused everything that happened to you. Work on your pride. You were offered a way out on two occasions but your ego was in the way of common sense. The two times you were offered a way out you could have left with your dignity but because of your pride you ended up having to prostrate to get out. So you got more demeaned |

Nigeria Police is your enemy |
| Re: My Bitter Experience At The Police Station by Bringbackmandat: 5:43pm On Jun 23, 2023 |
No wonder they die like chicken , A police man told me that if they want to incriminate you, the first thing is to accuse you of attacking a policeman. Every policeman in that station will start slapping and beating you then you will be confused and forced to agree that you have committed the crime. Many innocent Nigerians are rotting in jail today just because they have no money to bribe the police. This same policeman told me that their priority is to make money no matter which way. He said you will not be assigned any case of you are not making money for the DPO. The worst organisation in this country is the police from top to bottom. |
