There is a difference between 12 midday and 12 midnight.
The answer remains 12:03am... Go to court

But after puffin more than three drag of my weed then the answer was 11:55am

There's no 11:55pm there .. check the question again
Fuckyoumod:
Here is the trick, Time is always calculated in two ways.

After the hour and To (before the hour)

After 12:00 am - starts counting just a minute after 12:00am.
While To or before the hour of 12:00 am - This means that the time isn't 12:00 am yet.
Some minutes are still left before it hits 12:00 am.

Now, in this context the question is actually referring to - To (before) 12:00 am, Meaning it's not yet 12:00 am.

The only right answer to the time that is nearest to - (To) 12:00Amis 11: 55 pm.

I know a lot of people would go for 12:03am, Because is just 3 minutes apart. But they are wrong.

This is why it's a tricky question.
Re: Solve This Easy And Yet Tricky Question by 43Ronin: 8:22pm On Jun 23, 2023
it would take around 20-23 hours to get from 12.05/12:03am to 12 midnight, while it would take just 12hr+5min for 11:55am to get to mid9yt. #offsthemic

11:55am

12am =midnight.

12:03am is 3minutes after midnight. You'll need about 23hrs and 54mins to the next midnight.

12:06am is 6minutes after a new day. You'll need about 23hrs and 54mins to the next midnight.

11:50am is is 11hrs and 50mins after the previous midnight, and it will take you 12hrs 50mins to the next midnight we are heading to.

11:55am is approximately 11hrs and 55mins after the previous midnight. And it will take us 12hrs and 5minutes to arrive at the next midnight.

So 11:55am is the answer

11:55 am is 5 minute to noon not midnight

Answer is A. 11:55am
The closest time " To" midnight not "after " midnight. Understand the sentence and then you get the answer. It's called word problem

Answers 12:03am and 12:06am are wrong grammatically.
It should have been 00:03 am and 00:06am respectively or 12:03pm and 12:06pm

You are right, but remember that "AM" and "PM" should not be written when writing time in 24-hour time. So, the correct ones are 00:03 and 00:06. But the correct answer is 12:03 am as you have mentioned.
Re: Solve This Easy And Yet Tricky Question by balingaonline(m): 8:24pm On Jun 23, 2023
The question is indeed logic, but after all the correct answer is A
Re: Solve This Easy And Yet Tricky Question by sam1990(m): 8:27pm On Jun 23, 2023
If it's 11:55 then it's ought to be PM and not AM"to" means "before". so it is 11:55am

if the question is "away from" or "past", then it will be 12:03am[/quote]

I'll provide the answer here.
It's A.
The closest time to mid night is 11:55am. As time doesn't move backwards, only forward. At 12:03 am and 12:06am, we just moved slightly past midnight but at 11:55am, we are just 5 mins away from noon and 12 hours away from mid night. For the other options, we are almost 24 hours to mid night except for 11:50am which is 5 mins short from 11:55am.
The answer is A

If "to" in the context does not mean before midnight, then the answer is 12:03am. You wonder why there's a 1206am option?

Judging by the law of vice versa or all things been equall, I can tell you categorically that, since we have 24 hrs in a day.I will device the 24÷2 which will give me 12.going by the law of gap or distance I learnt that, midnight is a period of time between 11:59 to 12:59.So deciding that gap between the said 11:59 anfmd 12:59 by two (2) places will give you 12:30.In summary judging by my opinion and calculations, I can categorically tell you that my answer is B. For 12:06am is the last period on the options that is closer to 12:30am which is the center of midnight.....

Because there is nothing like 12:00am in time .we have only 0:00am
Then 11:50am is closer to midnight more than 11:55am
