I like how he's demolishing everything. I thought kano people were hailing him because of kwakwanso. At least they will learn that most politicians are almost the same. 1 Like |

9jaRealist: Look you don't have to blame this man, come to Ondo state, Aketi has sold all the government land within Akure to his son and his ally. There is a land his son babajide bought from government and sold that same land to Jaiz bank. Just incase if another government start demolishing building in Akure, so we should not complain. |

Nazgul: I think you need to understand that Kwankwaso is the one doing the demolition, but using the governor to accomplish it. Kabir is not the one in charge of Kano but Kwankwaso. |

maasoap: Even government property investments can also be a padi padi arrangement . Just by looking at the terms will reveal the corruption in it . These alleged schools and hospitals are likely private ones that most Kano people can’t afford . So public lands should be used and allocated to people regardless of the intended use of such public lands because they can get land elsewhere ? The poor should go to school and hospital 20 or 30 kilometres from where they live . It is well . |

Okhuadams: Some Nigerians and tortured logic… So people are free to do any and all things for “survival”? Perhaps, we should (eg) ignore folks selling dodgy drugs or driving unroadworthy buses for “survival”… Anyway, demolishing the buildings shouldn’t deny them compensation if the land was not ILLEGALLY acquired. Ultimately, governance should be for the COMMON GOOD or the good of the MANY, and not for the benefit of few and select (or for the connected). For instance, if/when government provides tap water or electricity, the “survival” of those selling water in tankers or those selling/repairing generators would have “just been taken away from him/her”, do you think government should not be providing portable water or electricity?! Sadly, some of the proffered logic here betrays why Nigeria is a nation of ANYHOWNESS! SMDH > PS: Meanwhile, a World Heritage Site is a cultural trust handed down to us by our ancestors and forefathers… Even if our generation chooses not to appreciate it, it is incumbent on us as trust custodians to preserve for future generations. > |

All this type of action and reactions are fallout of inactive legislative With good and vibrant legislative this type of scenarios will not have occurred The legislative would have curtailed both the past government and so incumbent. Unfortunately we have rubber stamping houses as legislative. |
