After the federal government, Yahoo is the second biggest creator of jobs in Nigeria grin

On a serious note, why young people continue to defraud people online is that such crimes attract no severe punishment.
like what punishment do you suggest 😶

The Government nurtured this monster by looting the collective wealth of the nation while ignoring the youth's.

Imagine after spending years in tertiary institutions, hoping that life will get better after graduation alas it's a sorry case,as there's no job anywhere or an enabling environment to do business.

Some parents borrowed money and sold their properties to train their children hoping that life will get better through them.

The government is not thinking of how to create jobs for the youths, all they are after is to loot and enrich themselves.

Now, the monster has grown to a hydra headed beast, which is now difficult to tame

As they are arresting them, more are coming up.

Good for them if they voted for APC.

Cyber crime is a worldwide phenomenon due to the age of internet explosion we are in. But how many times have you seen American or Chinese or Indian or Brazilian govt targeting their youths in the name of fighting Yahoo boys?

It is only in Nigeria that you see the police turning their guns on the youth as if they are the cause of economic turmoil the country is in. This is the same country that has given these young generations nothing in terms of a shot at a better life.

There is an underlining beef and malicious intent of the govt of the day targeting the youth in the name of fighting cyber crime. Why are they not being as vicious in fighting the political thieves that have paralized our economy?

This is one of the issues we were looking to confront with the ObidientMovement but so unfortunate to see some Yoruba youth still supporting APC undecided

The Supreme Court has held that the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) does not have the powers to prosecute offenses that are not corruption cases and that the only corruption cases it can investigate are cases involving the movement of cash from Nigeria to foreign countries and corruption cases involving federal finances, being a creation of federal law.

EFCC should not arrest anybody unless the allegation is about "illicit financial outflow from Nigeria", or "corruption cases involving federal finances".

oya go tell them lols

If govt do, they will still fall prey to another scammers.

But giving us the proceed won't only encourage entrepreneurial youth but will also discourage people from going into scam.
