My similar story in the US in the late 80s. I drove cab because I couldn't afford the school that gave ne admission and visa.
Eventually started from a community College before transferring to a prestigious University where I graduated from.
Those days were actually fun looking back now.
Alhamdulilah for everything.
We had fun but was very broke.
Still remember those days as the good old days of been broke but having lots of fun. Very few responsibilities and no one expecting anything from me from Nigeria.
