Things are getting messy out there,

Is NLC and TUC fighting for or against the Nigerian workers?

This is beyond party affiliation, things are difficult out there.

NLC & TUC HAVE RECEIVED THEIR SHARE OF THE SUBSIDY.

SENATORS & HOUSE OF REP MEMBERS ARE RUBBER STAMP.

JUDICIARY SERVES JUSTICE WITH FEAR AND OR FAVOUR. THEY LOOK FACE.

TINUBU WHO MOBILIZED PASTOR TUNDE BAKARE, CHIEF OYEGUN, BUHARI, FEMI KUTI AND EVERYONE AGAINST GEJ ,& NOI NOT TO REMOVE SUBSIDY.. IS NOW THE ONE REMOVING SUBSIDY WITHOUT PALLIATIVE.

HE HAS WASTED ELEVEN YEARS OF THE LIVES IF NIGERIANS....DESTINY WASTERS

IF THE MASSES CANNOT EMBARK ON A SUSTAINED PROTEST AND CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE.... THEN THEY SHOULD STARVE TO DEATH OR GO TO THIRD MAINLAND BRIDGE AND DO THE NEEDFUL.

NLC & TUC NO SEND U
JUDICIARY NO SEND U
LEGISLATURE NO SEND U
FIGHT FOR YOUR SELVES

Things are getting out of hands, the dividends of democracy in nigeria is suffering,it hard to believe that some motherfuckers are still backing the draconian policy implemented by Apc government without considering common people, this is too outrageous to bare.

Hahahaha

They are not emotional like the opposition. His Excellency must have presented them with his plans on how to cushion the effects of subsidy removal.

Subsidy is gone for good in Nigeria. Nothing any baga can do about it

That lyrics actually sound familiar.

The mandate has been swallowed by Shark, the location of the shark is 3 nautical miles to Antarctica, go and retrieve it there

Lagos - Ibadan media propaganda have overwhelmed them and they’ve been flooded by the euphoria of the BABA-GO-FAST.

Tinubu’s government will design a strategy to polarize the unity between the labor and trade unions.

Nigerians should watch out for this.

Removing subsidy is a hellish decision, but keeping it is also hellish

Our budget this year is 20 trillion naira. We have spent 3.6 trillion this year. Spending another 3.6 trillion plus additional funds if fuel prices goes up could lead to a big hole in our budget

Guess how it would be filled? Another loan.

Something had to give

Every government world over provide some sort of subsidy to its citizens.

What any serious government should do is to tackle the endemic corruption in the subsidy regime, not an outright removal of subsidy that will further improverished the poor.

Ok, the subsidy have been removed, What is the government doing to ameliorate the sufferings it's citizens are passing through, Nothing!

Dollars ,fuel and food prices are beyond the reach of the masses and everyone is struck with hunger and lack of strength to protest.

TUC and NLC have been suppressed by ethnic tugs and hooligans who thinks that every protest is against Tinubu.

Lol. Obi is free to lead Biafra or IPOB land but he will never be President of Nigeria.

I would advise you to dust off your passport and japa because Tinubu will be President for at least 4 years.

The masses are looking for a champion to lead their protest. Why not become that champion since you are clearly passionate about the masses Tinubu is 'deliberately' and mercilessly suffering?

The governments that provide subsidy also have their people pay heavy taxes to fund the subsidy. And even then, subsides are not like ours, they are incentives given to the refineries and the companies that run them in return for keeping costs low. They do not force their oil sectors to sell at a loss and then pay them a subsidy that does not adequately cover their losses.

I hate to defend the government, but we still have massive subsides in health and even in education...schools at primary and secondary level are relatively cheap. Hospital care is cheap.

Plus when we had subsidy, we all were still complaining of suffering.

As things stand, we had to remove subsidy, or face a situation where subsidy costs eat our revenue, and then our earnings. And then we would end up with a deficit, which has to be covered by taking more loans. Poor would suffer even more.

Well-said. Another point is that fuel subsidy had to be removed so Nigeria can begin meaningful motion towards becoming a developed nation.

Subsidy is the equivalent of failing to wean a baby off breast milk. When that baba is in secondary school or University, will the mother show up every lunch time to breast-feed him or her?

If we do not fully deregulate our downstream sector, and only want to exist on cheap fuel, then we will remain a poor people and nation and never be like nations that have used their oil wealth efficiently to transform their fortunes like Dubai Nigerians love flocking to and the insincere Atiku lives in.
