Kobojunkie:
1. They do not each have to do that since the Law is meant to be all-or-nothing meaning you ought to compile it all together to actually understand the message, same as you would any other Law. You do not take pieces from here and from there and then reason that you have it all figured out. It is a Law and to understand it, you have to make sure you have all the pieces compiled together. The same applied as far as the other Laws of God and so also this one. undecided
Which laws? Were the laws compiled together? Laws of Paul, Mark or Luke or whom? Laws that were selected by the Church fathers! Abeg!
The books of the bible were compiled independently of the other! Some copied a little of other while another placed emphasis on whatever theme from another!

2. The righteous are not promised immunity from Satan by Jesus Christ. Rather, Jesus Christ promises His followers suffering & tribulation but along with that, He also gives them His peace to weather the many storms to come. Job endured suffering, but He got exactly what he asked for which is an audience with God Himself. undecided
Okay, you should pray since i believe you are righteous! I just need a million Kuwaiti Dollar in 6 days! Let's see whether Matthew 7:7 and other verses are true!

3. Exactly how long do you think it took before God answered Job's prayer? undecided
Very long even if it's just a day! It takes a few seconds to pray! How long does it take to answer when he is righteous?

4. According to Jesus Christ, it is all those who seek first the Kingdom of God(Holiness) followed by God's righteousness, that will have all these things He taught of the Kingdom of God — the blessings and rewards of the Kingdom of God including answers to prayers — added onto them. I am not certain where you come off by claiming that all of them will not receive what is promised to them. undecided
Have all these things being added on you? Mention what you have received? Where did Jesus mention righteousness as you say along with any of the verses?

5. I am afraid I do not follow along at all. What has God been the creator of calamity and prosperity to do with any of this? How does this diminish God's ability to grant the requests of the righteous as He said He would? undecided
God grants the wish of everyone whether righteous or not! Dangote and BUA are not righteous according to your Biblical standards but their prayers to be one of the richest and successful businessmen in Nigeria is always coming true!

It doesn't matter whether you are righteous or not, God blesses or impoverish whoever He wills!

The reason I engage with Muslims is because they claim they believe in Jesus of the bible but the book itself has been corrupted. I ask them to show me what's corrupt.

Says who huh? U better dust your bible and read b4 u start embarrassing yourself here.

Now a man named Lazarus was sick. He was from Bethany, the village of Mary and her sister Martha. 2 (This Mary, whose brother Lazarus now lay sick, was the same one who poured perfume on the Lord and wiped his feet with her hair.) 3 So the sisters sent word to Jesus, “Lord, the one you love is sick.”
4 When he heard this, Jesus said, “This sickness will not end in death. No, it is for God’s glory so that God’s Son may be glorified through it.” 5 Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus.

The question u should be asking is why did Jesus wait for Lazarus to die b4 attending to him?
Even at death, his sister sustained the faith.

But u that don't believe in Jesus, nobody around u knows him, yet wants to collect 1 million dollars just like that.

The example of Lazarus u dragging here no be am at all. Have u read that chapter? John 11, u read and digested it, yet asking this Kain question.

Lazarus had a good relationship with Jesus. He was sick but believed Jesus would heal him thus he sent his sisters to Jesus.
However, Jesus deliberately waited until Lazarus died before going to Bethany.

After he had said this, he went on to tell them, “Our friend Lazarus has fallen asleep; but I am going there to wake him up.”

12 His disciples replied, “Lord, if he sleeps, he will get better.” 13 Jesus had been speaking of his death, but his disciples thought he meant natural sleep.

14 So then he told them plainly, “Lazarus is dead, 15 and for your sake I am glad I was not there, so that you may believe. But let us go to him.”

Lazarus wanted Jesus to raise him from his sick bed. Rather Jesus chose to raise him from his death bed that God's name may be glorified.

But even at death, Lazarus sisters sustained the faith...they interceded on his behalf.

21 “Lord,” Martha said to Jesus, “if you had been here, my brother would not have died. 22 But I know that even now God will give you whatever you ask.”

1. The Law compiled and referred to as the Good News or Gospel of Jesus Christ, the same Law Jesus Christ is written to have taught to His followers before He then sent them out to teach it to all those out in the world. undecided

2. I believe if you actually read the book of Job for yourself you would have at least realized that righteousness is by God's very approval. So, are you insinuating you are God Himself that you would out of nowhere decree me righteous? undecided

3. That would depend on God Himself unless you believe His methods are inefficient or something. Job is not recorded to have complained though. undecided

4. Beginning from the beatitude in Matthew 5, you will find that Jesus Christ mentioned the importance of righteousness in the Kingdom of God, and by Chapter 6 of the same book, He explained that it should be the main focus of everyone who is a follower of His. undecided

5. God pours out His mercies on all of mankind every day, including on the wicked and the ungrateful but I wouldn't go as far as to claim He grants the wishes of everyone. I bet there are things you wished for in life that you eventually had to give up on since you were not able to achieve or make it happen for yourself. As for that which God gives, it cannot be compared to that which you obtain by your own will and hard work.

Righteousness may not matter to you who are not of God as it isn't what you are used to and able to attain, but to those who believe in Him and are citizens in His Kingdom, God's righteousness is the ultimate goal and desire, and no man can enter into God's presence without it. undecided

1) And Jesus answered and said to them, “Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, `Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it will happen. “And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” (Matthew 21:21-22 NAS)

2) Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. (Matthew 7:7-8 NAB)

3) Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst. (Matthew 18:19-20 NAS)

4) Amen, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it shall be done for him. Therefore I tell you, all that you ask for in prayer, believe that you will receive it and it shall be yours. (Mark 11:24-25 NAB)

5) And I tell you, ask and you will receive; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. (Luke 11:9-13 NAB)

6) And whatever you ask in my name, I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything of me in my name, I will do it. (John 14:13-14 NAB)

7) If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask for whatever you want and it will be done for you. (John 15:7 NAB)

cool It was not you who chose me, but I who chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit that will remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name he may give you. (John 15:16 NAB)

9) On that day you will not question me about anything. Amen, amen, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you. Until now you have not asked anything in my name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete. (John 16:23-24 NAB)

A lot of Christians ignore what Jesus actually says in the Bible. They also tend to add things to the actual words to make them say something else. If you honestly and truthfully read these quotes, without adding to them, it is very easy to see that Jesus is not saying that God will think about your prayers. He says God will grant all your prayers. Clearly, God doesn’t grant all prayers and this proves that the Biblical Jesus was a habitual liar.

What do you think about all these statements?

You watch season 6 episode 12 without watching season 1-5. How would you understand.

Instead of lording over and faulting a God you know not. Why not study the Bible and seek him genuinely, you would find out that he is loving, forgiving, meek and lowly at heart. He cares for us but hates the wicked.

There would be a time when we are all called to answer for every empty word we have said, I keep praying he corrects me in his anger and pulls me closer in his wrath. I am not saying this out of spite but out of genuine love and care for your salvation. Seek him and he would find you.

If you know his genuine love you would run out unto the streets proclaiming his name. Just ask him genuinely it costs nothing.

He will not study the Bible like his mentors: Zakir Naik, Ahmed Deedat, Shanu Ally, Mohammed Hijab Adepoju. They are all silly people. The present a rogue prophet as a perfect example for humanity.
Antichristian is an Antichrist like his prophet.
Even if he is misguided let's refrain from calling them silly, God did not make any of us silly, we are all sinners it's by the mercy of jesus we know what we know. God can pull anyone to him even the most unlikely. I pray his mercies keep speaking for us all

K, Blackmailer!
LOL!

I just showed you that in your quest to win an argument, you were willing to claim superiority in knowledge to your Prophet Mohammed. What does that make you? A good Muslim!?

It's the truth bro: you are not being blackmailed.

One thing I appreciate about Christianity is tolerance from the folks that practices it.
You see that last paragraph I highlighted, even if you say exactly those words to the faces of christians ,even in the area they are majority, they will most likely ask God to grant you repentance & forgiveness.
I'm very certain they won't burn you alive or kill you for making such inciting statement in their midst.
There's lessons to learn there.

Sometimes, you get to a certain stage in life & you realize that people's actions & inactions matters more than whatever they say.

I honestly don't expect you to understand why I made those statements, but I will be very impressed if you do.
Do have a lovely day.
