I just need all Christians reading this to have faith and pray for me to have just 1 million Kuwaiti Dollar within one week, they say miracle no dey tire Jesus! Lol! grin

1) And Jesus answered and said to them, “Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, `Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it will happen. “And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive.” (Matthew 21:21-22 NAS)

2) Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. (Matthew 7:7-8 NAB)

3) Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by My Father who is in heaven. For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst. (Matthew 18:19-20 NAS)

4) Amen, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be lifted up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart but believes that what he says will happen, it shall be done for him. Therefore I tell you, all that you ask for in prayer, believe that you will receive it and it shall be yours. (Mark 11:24-25 NAB)

5) And I tell you, ask and you will receive; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and the one who seeks, finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. (Luke 11:9-13 NAB)

6) And whatever you ask in my name, I will do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything of me in my name, I will do it. (John 14:13-14 NAB)

7) If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask for whatever you want and it will be done for you. (John 15:7 NAB)

cool It was not you who chose me, but I who chose you and appointed you to go and bear fruit that will remain, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name he may give you. (John 15:16 NAB)

9) On that day you will not question me about anything. Amen, amen, I say to you, whatever you ask the Father in my name he will give you. Until now you have not asked anything in my name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete. (John 16:23-24 NAB)

A lot of Christians ignore what Jesus actually says in the Bible. They also tend to add things to the actual words to make them say something else. If you honestly and truthfully read these quotes, without adding to them, it is very easy to see that Jesus is not saying that God will think about your prayers. He says God will grant all your prayers. Clearly, God doesn’t grant all prayers and this proves that the Biblical Jesus was a habitual liar.

What do you think about all these statements?

The same Jesus Christ also urged His followers to seek first the Kingdom of God(Holiness), followed by God's Righteousness in order that all these things — the blessings and rewards of the Kingdom of God— shall be added onto them. So, it is a leap to conclude that Jesus Christ lied by quoting various parts of His teachings ignoring some of the more important instructions such as the one above. The key in the Kingdom of God is righteousness, as it is only to those who attain Holiness and are then approved righteous by God that in fact benefit from the blessing of the Kingdom as related by Jesus Christ in His teachings. The unrighteous have no blessings accorded to them in the Kingdom of God. undecided

You want to say that Mohammed did his atrocities because of Jewish stories, shey?
Angel Gabriel asked him to kill Aisha parents to marry her. What does Allah gain from that?

Jesus told us to pray to him in his name.
'where 2 or more are gathered in my name, I'll be in their midst.'
'If you ask for anything in my name, I will do it'
This confirms Jesus is God and Christians serve a living God.

All those verses never mentioned any reference to being righteous as a criteria!

In the old testament, Job in Job 1:1 was righteous. Yet Satan whined God according to the Bible to kill and destroy all job's kids and properties.
Job prayed tire before he was answered!

And more so, it's not all those who seek first the kingdom of God as you said that'll have their prayers answered!

There's a reason the biblical God created prosperity and calamity according to Isaiah 45:7!

And lastly, I still await Christians that will pray for me to have 1,000,000 Kuwaiti dollar!

1. They do not each have to do that since the Law is meant to be all-or-nothing meaning you ought to compile it all together to actually understand the message, same as you would any other Law. You do not take pieces from here and from there and then reason that you have it all figured out. It is a Law and to understand it, you have to make sure you have all the pieces compiled together. The same applied as far as the other Laws of God and so also this one. undecided

2. The righteous are not promised immunity from Satan by Jesus Christ. Rather, Jesus Christ promises His followers suffering & tribulation but along with that, He also gives them His peace to weather the many storms to come. Job endured suffering, but He got exactly what he asked for which is an audience with God Himself. undecided

3. Exactly how long do you think it took before God answered Job's prayer? undecided

4. According to Jesus Christ, it is all those who seek first the Kingdom of God(Holiness) followed by God's righteousness, that will have all these things He taught of the Kingdom of God — the blessings and rewards of the Kingdom of God including answers to prayers — added onto them. I am not certain where you come off by claiming that all of them will not receive what is promised to them. undecided

5. I am afraid I do not follow along at all. What has God been the creator of calamity and prosperity to do with any of this? How does this diminish God's ability to grant the requests of the righteous as He said He would? undecided

The Words of Jesus are Perfectly said bro and I stand by EVERYTHING.
I have experienced His words work in my life and in the lives of others.

There is a condition however: My FAITH!
Sometimes I have enough for my request and many times I fail to have the necessary faith!
I am still learning from Him.

If my Faith is not enough for my request, it is my Fault not the Words of Christ!

The walk of Faith is a work in progress as Jesus often corrects His own disciples and say "Why did you doubt"?
Matt 14:31
And immediately Jesus stretched out His hand and caught him, and said to him, “O you of little faith, why did you doubt?”

Matt 8:25-26
25The disciples went and woke Him, saying, “Lord, save us! We are perishing!” 26 “You of little faith,” Jesus replied, “why are you so afraid?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it was perfectly calm.

Let me give you an Understanding of Faith:
FAITH is like a Spiritual Currency!
A Faith worth (say N50) is still Faith: however it can only purchase small things,
BUT it is NOT enough to Purchase anything higher than what the Faith is Worth!

Every spiritual demand has its Faith Value, the question is if my faith is enough for it.

Lol
And while at it, please my son was reading about how the Biblical Jesus gathered his Disciples, so we are having issues with their names! They are only Twelve but going thru the Gospel, the Twelve names did not match! Please TENQ my son need your assistance.

Also, you remember Andrew? The Synopsis says Jesus saw him while fishing but John says Andrew left the Baptist and followed Jesus. TENQ help my son unravel this Holy Ghost inspired confusion please....

On the case of Jesus Disciples
Can you tell me the mismatched names? (for there is none I know)

On the Issue on Andrew:
John 1:35-42 show Andrew's encounter with Jesus occurred through the testimony of John the Baptist. John the Baptist identified Jesus as the Lamb of God, and two of John's disciples, Andrew and another unnamed disciple, followed Jesus after hearing this. Andrew then went to find his brother Simon Peter and brought him to Jesus, introducing Simon Peter to him as well.
At this time NONE of them has been Appointed as Apostles by Jesus!
Verse 39 “Come,” he replied, “and you will see.”
So they went and saw where he was staying, and they spent that day with him. It was about four in the afternoon.
Mathew 4:18-21 show Jesus APPOINTING Peter, Andrew James and John as Apostles
Verse 19-20 “Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people.” 20 At once they left their nets and followed him.

Please next time, read for comprehension!
I guess I should ask you this Bible Study Question:
In John 1:35-42, how many months did Andrew spend with Jesus?

u need to understand that Jesus unlike mohammed(shît be upon him) was not carnally minded. All those things he said refers to spiritual things and spiritual rewards. It's only prophet Muhammed (Piss be upon him) that engaged in warfare because his kingdom is of this world.

Yeah see your Sunday School response wink

Lol. Go back to your Bible again and read slowly.

The synopsis agreed that Jesus found Andrew all by himself ( they cribbed from each other) while John submitted that Andrew started flowing Jesus when he went to see the Baptist. Lol.

The question to ask is this, Was he Andrew already aware of Jesus Mission pre Jesus Baptismal so much so that he started filling him him around? and if he is in the know, does he need the Baptist confirmation to that effect?

See the confidence with which you are lying for Jesus? cheesy

I guess I should ask you this Bible Study Question:
In John 1:35-42, how many months did Andrew spend with Jesus?

[b]Matthew 4:18-22 (KJV) And Jesus, walking by the sea of Galilee, saw two brethren, Simon called Peter, and Andrew his brother, casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.
And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.
And going on from thence, he saw other two brethren, James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, in a ship with Zebedee their father, mending their nets; and he called them.
And they immediately left the ship and their father, and followed him.

According to Matthew, he saw Simon and Andrew TOGETHER, asked them to follow him and they did TOGETHER

Mark 1:16-20 (KJV) Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.
And Jesus said unto them, Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.
And straightway they forsook their nets, and followed him.
And when he had gone a little further thence, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the ship mending their nets.
And straightway he called them: and they left their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired servants, and went after him.

According to Mark, he saw them TOGETHER and told them follow me and they did TOGETHER.

Luke was not that sure, so he left that part out of his own accounts

John 1:40-42 (KJV) One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter's brother.
He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.
And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.

John told us that it was Andrew who went looking for his brother Simon and not Jesus calling them together. Also that Andrew was signed on from The Baptist FC Team.

So, who should we believe?

Same stort different versions. Do they have different subscription with the Holy Spirit?

Answer this one for I have another question for you about the Holy Spirit o

TenQ:

Since Allah doesn't need to pay subscription to anyone,
Tell me, since Allah wrote and dictated the Quran, why did he forget the order of creation.?
Did Allah forget or Mohammed edited Allah's words wrongly or Jubril forgot the Qur'an on his journey from paradise to the earth.?

Waiting!
