The Data captured from 2018 to 2021. Abuja overtook Lagos in 2019. Stop inventing excuses, how can COVID affect Lagos alone? As for international travel, it's just a matter of time. Continue your Ronu nuisance

Abuja overtook Lagos in international travel in what year?

Please tell us

Also did you read the data for 2018 2019

Did you comprehend it? Obviously not

Finally what do the figures for 2022 show?

In summary
The domestic flights to Abuja were higher in 2021. Not 2019 or 2018

International flights from/to Lagos were more throughout

All the places you mentioned are state capitals except Warri which is nothing to write home about. All those state capitals can't compare with Aba and Onitsha in terms of economic activities and urban built up

Port harcourt and Ibadan cannot compare with Aba and Onitsha?

Igbos and noise making.

Lol, the bigots thought that Lagos has arrived and nothing can shake it again, so they started threatening other Nigerians. Unfortunately for them, nothing is static because human existence is dynamic in nature.

If Warri people were told in the 1980's that their once economically vibrant city would today be reduced to a shanty town were Keke riders and POS operators are the big boys, they won't believe it.

If Jos people were told that their city with nice climate and beautiful scenery where foreigners and Nigerians rush to, will today become almost forgotten, they will never believe it.

Same will happen to Lagos if the bigots are not stopped. Already, the property sector in Lagos has been hit badly. If you doubt me, ask estate developers or property agents in Lagos.

Airport traffic also shows that Abuja that is less than a quarter of population of Lagos has overtaken Lagos! Abuja that is far from reaching its peak! Compared to Lagos that is nearing saturation point. Then you will see that Lagos is already declining!

They should continue with their ronu battle cry, body go soon tell them!

Onitsha urban area is over ten times larger than PH. Manufacturing and commerce is more in Onitsha and Aba than PH. Without oil, PH is dead

Onitsha metropolitan covers an area of 1,965 km2 (759 sq mi).

Port harcourt metropolitan area covers an area of 1,900 km2 (700 sq mi).

So where's the 10x bigger coming from?

Where is your source? See Google satellite pictures. But even in your own data, Onitsha is still greater. Onitsha metro is even larger than Lagos by landmass

My source is from Wikipedia.

In that map you included, you clearly added all towns and villages in Anambra and also included Imo state as Onitsha. shocked

I have used the light green colour to indicate Imo state boundary for you.

Even Nkpor, Obosi etc are officially not Onitsha. We are talking about metropolitan area, get the difference. This was how Tokyo was formed. Tokyo is just a small town but greater Tokyo metro is 40million and made up of different towns that fused tyogether due to economic expansion.
