my humble advice to president tinubu is to scrap the minister of state positions and and also decentralize some ministries to remove this "senior" and "Junior" minister wahala.

If the constitution says we should have 36 ministers, let's have 36 functional ministers who can be held accountable by individual.

What exactly does the minister of state for FCT mean? For 8 years we had a minister of state for Transport but we knew Amaechi was the one calling the shots in the ministry. They don't act like deputies, are they supposed to be deputies?
Instead of having a redundant Minister of State for Labour, split it and let a minister handle Employment and skill acquisition, and face the issue of unemployment squarely for 4 years. Let the other minister handle industrial relations and protective legislation - casualization, remuneration, pensions, and employee benefits.

But you must know that cronyism and padi-padi is the order of the day in pur politics. Proliferation of offices is the one way of compensating "loyalists".

Nigerian politicians never care about this country or its citizens. Their major concern is to loot and enjoy perk of offices.

The most heartbreaking part is that they have successfully infiltrated the minds of the common man with tribal hate and bigotry such that nationalism is a thing of the past.

He should not. Some ministries can do with two good heads of sound competent patriotic Nigerians.

Just because those in the past occupying the position have not been functioning don't mean they don't have a vital role . Nigeria is too big to put all the work on the senior ministers..

They are the closest to the state when it comes to spreading FG projects across Nigeria.
