IMO, Protesters should lose any form of protection or legitimacy once there is violence, looting and destruction of public properties. I stopped supporting EndSars when they started burning buses and destroying public facilities in my home city. I hope Macron is able to grow some balls and do the needful cos I just saw a video of so called "protesters" firing live rounds at CCTV cameras.

I'm impressed by the work of the police tonight, I saw some heavily armed paramilitary policemen standing on a flashpoint of these riots. The thugs don't even dare to provoke them.
