I registered a car in Lagos in 2018. Not based in Lagos neither have driven that vehicle to Lagos, but Lagos VIS have been periodically sending me offence ticket for my parked car that is outside Lagos giving me ultimatum to pay up.

Is this not FRAUD? Funny part is they don't attach any offence picture.

Anybody with this experience pls share how you went about it.
My default reaction has been ignore them, but it's becoming a concern as they send more offences.

Sell the car. If not .u go pay like white to lastma,npf,army,vigilante,road safety.then from thr na panic mode till u set the car on fire.

When a document expires, road worthiness or vehicle licence expires, could be one or both of them and you are yet to renew, they'll start notifying you prior to expiration. If you ignore till after expiration, next is a 20k fine. You must pay the fine before you can be able to renew.
These guys just want to milk people dry.

No gree for them, bite their director ear.

Sue them jare ....motor wey U park and no drive for months or years is not their business, someone from their office got Ur info and he's trying to scam U, my vehicle licence expired since December last year, I parked my car in my street though I drive around my neighborhood, no body has sent nothing to me, just yesterday, I renewed my vehicle licence with no problem

Did u read the writer well.

He does not live in lagos state.

I equally have a vehicle that is licenced in Lagos but used else way...why haven't they fine me.
