This is shameful on the part of the health ministry and the facility itself as it shows serious internal turbulence. Obviously, Owojuyigbe and some people don't want Adegbehingbe, hence the further lobbying leading to the June 27 letter which came after the one of 22nd. Someone somewhere pulled a bigger string

The main issue is that the first letter should have come from the office of permanent secretary, not the office of director of human resources. It is very very wrong for director of human resources to perform the role of permanent secretary but it is all politics as usual.

It’s not surprising to me. Federal government institutions are filled with intrigues, backstabbing, hypocrisy and all negatives you can think of. Some go diabolical just to gain or retain a position.
In 2021 vacancy for position of CMD in one of the teaching hospitals in the north was advertised. A relative of mine applied. This is a Professor of Community Medicine with over 25years of medical practice & lecturing. He has been acting CMD of State Specialist Hospital; he has been Provost of a College of Health Technology for 5yrs. One time president of state chapter of NMA. He is a medical theses editor for candidates doing specialization courses in universities across the country.
He was scheduled for written examination and panel interview in Abuja. The panel was drawn from the Federal Ministry of Health, Medical and dental council, and other institutions. Every thing was set until the morning of the exam/interview session word came that the minister ordered a postponement of the process until a later advised date. They returned home and some few months later the then acting CMD was appointed substantive CMD. The whole process was discarded. People traveled from far, big time people in the medical field o! At the end it’s whom the powerful politicians anointed that got the job.

This is absolutely correct, I want to serve my people with Interior motive. This confusion in the hospital now may be the work of lobbyist with I want to serve my people mentality

There is nothing to be ashamed of. Buhari did likewise many times. He even forgot he was a president. He usually left off from using his brain. Now Tinubu is sitting on that same saddle and coasting home with a mindset of continuing Buhari's legacies.

Dr. Adeyemo is the Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee of the hospital. He is as well a Consultant and by virtue of that, qualified to be the AG. CMD. However, even Dr. Owojuyigbe is not the most Senior. there arw many in the MDCAN ahead of him.

Somebody is about to lose his job over this matter in Abuja .. some civil servants are so lazy and corrupt .

I guess you are being misinformed or rather have something hideous for the adminstrative officers in the institution. Let me make this known to you that the Administrators are not in charge of the selection of the CMD. There are jurisdictions to every situations within the hospital. I will not avail you the privilege of knowing what actually happened, but since you claimed to be in Ife and you know a lot happening within the institution, i think you should help yourself more with the right information. Adminstrative Officers are not the Board Members.
