If the Minister's boss is an SSCE holder and we believe that he can perform, I don't see any reason why the Minister have to hold a PhD before he can perform as well.

Though an accountant with vast knowledge in finance and policy can manage the finance ministry.

But clearly I hope we can pass a bill to the NASS so that every CBN governor must be someone with a macro economics background.

This style of bringing someone from the banking industry to head the CBN has been counter productive.

I understand your argument. The acting CBN governor has a degree in Engineering and a career of about 30 years in banking. I feel the President just chose him to act for nepotistic reason.
