ViceGovernor:

The comments are not unreasonable sir.
They're here on a so called diplomatic relations visit with 3 Guided Missile Cruisers.
That is cause for alarm sir.
It's a big statement/intimidation and subtle threat considering the amount of money they're being owed.

I trust they have been monitoring the situation of the country's economy they can see it's in reverse hence the need to make a statement....if we default there's no country that can save us.
Call me paranoid but this people just blocked our major port.

Google is your friend just check what they did to some countries in Africa that couldn't pay back what they borrowed

So, if there would be an Invasion, the whole of Nigeria will succumb to just 3 Warships?

And please show me a Google search that says China invaded any country in Africa for Debts Repayment Default. Show me just one!

As a matter of fact, China has a far far bigger fish to fry with Taiwan and Chinese Taipei than invade the most populous Nation in Africa.

Nigeria has been a friend from day one with China. Our Trade outside the Debts procurement is far bigger than the $30b or so we are Owing annually.

Do you think they want to jeopardize that Trade?

Truly, the comments on Nairaland is somehow Sha.

US owed China over $1 TRILLION! You see that #30b+ we are owing China can forget it without hurting them.

The British, the Americans, the Italians have all done the same thing. It is normal diplomacy. The Nigerian navy can also visit them.
You don't have to criticize things you don't properly understand.
Am being sarcastic... warship on diplomatic mission cheesy

NL villagers always posting trash rubbish since they have never left villages and very ignorant of what's going on around the world.
They are visiting Nigeria with the knowledge and approval of the Nigerian govt.
Many many countries do this to each other on yearly basis. It's way to improve diplomatic relationships.

We don't owe Spain any debt, do we??
The Chinese are here to collect, time to pay. With the way the current administration is going, our president might decide to shift the burden to the citizens and his image-laundry team on Nairaland will hail that move. 😂😂😂😂😂

Na wa for the comments o

Hope you know that naija warships also pay vists to other countries.... It's a naval thing.

Our ships are even on display for people to visit at a certain periods of the year. Why do you all not know this? Why why why...the comments on page 1 are embarrassing (but I know you all play too much).

Here we go! America is crumbling and crashing. Why won't them crash? When they encourage evil and albeit it. Tinubu didn't win, he was rigged in and selected by inec, then shaky Biden went ahead to congratulate the evil. God will rubbish anyone that supports evil. Up China ans Russia!
